This is a single stanza Shadorma about time of year.

Start anew

Gone the jaded year

Young buds peep

From the earth.

Greeting clean unsullied air

Under winter skies.

Shut out.

Shut out

Lost am l

In this dark tunnel

Without hope

Bleak heart full

Of much regret and sadness

No hope left for me.

🖤🖤🖤

Joy denied

Shut out in the cold

No entry

Just exiled

There’s no chance of redemption

My soul is not free.

Twittering Tales #118 – 8 January 2019.

This is my entry to Kat Myrman of Like Mercury Colliding fame’s Twittering Tales.

Trouble in heaven and hell.

Satan hated January, Dry, Vegan, Veggie, No Smoking month! Those humans were always so good at the start of the year. Nevermind come February and the smiles would be wiped from Gabe and the guys upstairs faces. Back to drinking, gluttony and good old St. Valentines debourchery.

This took me an age to work out but after a while it came to me in the form of my present self giving my younger self some advice I would of appreciated or maybe not , who knows.

Anyway it’s an Etheree and I have tried to use the word self at least once in each line.

Self

Self worth

Not selfish

Know yourself well

My dear younger self

Do not sell yourself light

As I sold myself well short

No we cannot change ourselves yet

I as your older self will tell you

Know yourself, your self worth, be always kind.
