This is the last #SLS for 2018 and Helen Vahdati has set us the prompt New.
Well I have always loved the song, New flame by Simply Red.
“A New Flame”
She’s turned me round
A new flame has come
And nothing she can do
Can do me wrong
I am stern now
Petty words
Don’t believe me
But her warm smile
Is never gonna leave me
She’s turned me round
A new flame has come
And nothing she can do
Can do me wrong
Wrong oh no
Wrong oh no
She’s made of real glass
She got real real emotion
But my heart laughs
I have that same
Sweet devotion
She’s turned me round
A new flame has come
And nothing she can do
Can do me wrong
Wrong oh no
Wrong oh no
Nothing she can do
Can ever do me wrong
Lyrics from A to Z lyrics
I want to wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year 2019.

If you read Sue Vincent’s post Full Circle: Spiral Dance.
You will learn a great deal from her knowledge. I can’t match that wealth of knowledge but I can tell you what I experienced.
Little Meg
Permission sought from those who went before. We entered the field following the line of the hedge to avoid the deep mud. Again I felt the rush and crush of those who had had passed this way before.
We enter with respect
Our thoughts circumspect
Seeking out the our inner seed
We call them out, our souls to feed.
Again we join in Meditation
We assend to to space
Looking down on Gia’s creation
The light that fills me makes me warm
I am reluctant to return
I want to see forever, to fly and burn.

This is my entry for Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Hosted by LindaGHill.
This week, the last #SoCs of this year Linda has said we should : Either ask someone in the room with you to give you a word prompt or turn on the TV or the Radio and pick a word from the first sentence you hear.
Well I was sitting in the living room with two friends and hubby. I asked my friend Anne for a prompt word. Her immediate reply was Productive.
Productive, yes that is how you could describe today so far. So far I have cleaned most of the house, washed floors, hoovered and dusted, put the washing on and had a shower.
That is quite productive in its own right was but it is so pointless really. What with Ruby in and out of the kitchen, hubby attacking the back gate with a plane and the damp dull weather the house will be dusty, and dirty in no time …
Hubby has been productive too he has walked Ruby, been to the bottle bank, and as I have already said he is fixing the back garden gate.
Well although this post is entitled Productive I am not feeling it at all. So there you go this piece of dribble is brought to you care of #SoCs. Happy weekend everyone.💜💜💜💜💜
Now look hubby and Ruby sweeping up now I do call that productive. 😁

Today it’s a poem of two sides. All I did was change two words for one in the top line and three words in the bottom line. What a difference that made.
A poem of two sides.
I put on my crown of thorn
And vow no more to mourn
The passing of my days
Lost in depression’s maze
New resolutions I will make
To smile and cope
Pretending it’s not fake
Farewell to joy farewell to hope.
***********
Remove my crown of thorn
And vow no more to mourn
The passing of my days
Lost in depression’s maze
New resolutions I will make
To smile and cope
Pretending it’s not fake
Farewell sadness welcome hope.

Inner Circle inner peace from Sue 💜
*
We circle the Long Stone, feet planted gently but firmly on the earth…
Arms and hands hang loosely by our sides…
We close our eyes…
We breathe deeply…
We perform our breathing exercise…
And then again breathe deeply, listening only to the sound of our own breath…
After a time, the silence is broken by the Seed Sound of someone’s Word of Truth…
Nobody knows who sounded…
Nobody cares…
We are leaving the world of personalities behind…
Before the first Seed Sound has ended, another has sounded, and another, and then another, as our Song of Truth is raised…
Emboldened by the anonymity, carefree in the rising Song of Power we each sound out our Truth, chanting it again and again, delighting as each Seed bounces of each other, one or two entwining, playing and cascading off one another…
Until finally…
As the light of day fades…
Only one…

Again in the presence of Many.
Our final site of the day was to be one of the most astonishing circles we have visited. It is not the biggest, nor are the stones themselves the largest, but it has a ‘feel’ unlike any other. Castlerigg. That we would visit on our final day of the workshop, may rightly be accounted one of the most beautiful of circles, but what Long Meg and her Daughters lack in aesthetics, they more than make up for in sheer presence.
On our very first visit, the light had been going and the winter dusk had been bitterly cold. We thought we knew what to expect…after all, we had seen enough photographs of the place. I had even a vague memory of having been taken there as a child. Yet, we had rounded the corner and been ambushed by the stones. Getting out of the car, we had literally bounced with…

Clouds
There
Is light
Believe me
There must be light
Even the darkest
Dawn gives way to light
I don’t believe it now
Yet if I can only keep faith
All will be well, yes all will be well.
Glimpses of bright truth burst through the grey clouds.
