Dear Friends

132
Off to  my  castle  by the  sea.

Well I have been dreading this day. Things are getting difficult , life is very complicated at the moment.
The MIL is ill, the husband is stressed, there are all sorts of things going on family wise.
The thing is the husband dose not like me blogging, in fact he hates it. I just cannot cope with everything that is going on at the moment and fight to write ( that is a great tag) seriously though I just can’t cope with arguments over my blog.
At the moment my life feels like it is falling apart so it with deep regret that I am having to stop posting. I shall try and read and comment if I can but please believe I will miss you all more than I can say.
If I have anytime on my own I might try to post a quick few words to keep my hand in . I do hope at some point I can come back properly.
Bee I am sorry for not finishing Love Is In Da Blog but who knows next year?
So to all of you, especially those of you who I have known a long time, some since I started and to my newer followers I am not abandoning you all I  just  have  to  be  away  for  my  sanity.
Oh! Look I could go on forever because I don’t want to say this. But for now adieu. I will miss you all so much.

I  am hoping  that  Paul  Curran  will keep up  his If  we  were  having  coffee   every Sunday  I  am trying  to find  him a  host  and  as  soon as I  know where  he is  going I  shall let  you all know!

Please  all be  be  well and be happy!

I  will  leave  you  a  song  that  describes  you  all!

Love Is In Da Blog:Loved Places

Have you ever imagined to go to a place in a book or outer space? Somewhere fantastical that you know you never will get to, but it’s just so sweet to imagine what might happen?

So today we travel to fantastical destinations: celebrate your imaginary destination

We celebrate fellow humans and things we love, and so a celebration is part of “Love Is In Da Blog”. Maybe you are not the imaginary type? Then write about a place of your choosing. I wrote about something entirely different. You know, all your creativity is welcomed here at #LoIsInDaBl.

My Secret Place.

The  endless lapping  of  the  sea, on silver moonlit sand

Is where  I  long  to be  when all  grows more  than I  can stand.

Castle  ruins to  be  my  shelter  with ghosts  to  be  my  company

To  watch  the  stars  sail through  the  skies setting  my  spirits

Love Is In Da Blog: Wordless Wednesday

Bee at Just Fooling Around With Bee said :It is the last week of #LoIsInDaBl, and I wondered what could be the wordless post.

The best I could come up with was:

Share a photo you love

I think an open prompt is right to let our creative child play along. Maybe this gives you some ideas for March to write and blog about. But, of course, you do not need to follow this prompt. Write as much or as less as you want to you. Share lots of photo’s or none. It is entirely up to you how you want to go about today’s “Wordless Again”.

Love Is In Da Blog, Mindful Monday

Bee at Just Fooling Around With Bee said: Allow yourself to sit or lay down. Have music on that you like or a candle or even some lovely essential oils and then just be. Breath out. Breathe in. Let the tension and everything go and imagine the word LOVE in huge letters.

Keep on breathing and when you feel like it get up and write down what came to mind.

So for tomorrow the prompt is

A mindful exercise

which you have already done and you may let us know what you learned in your post.

As always: You can but you do not need to follow the prompt. Feel free to create whatever floats your blog 🙂

Drifting and  floating, protected  by peace  and  love in a soft  cocoon

I leave  my  body  in this  quite room as I  drift away  past  stars and  the moon.

Come on  in  it is nice  to  sit  and  have a  chat  after  all  the  hustle  and  bustle  of  the past  few days.   I  can  still entertain  you  all  with tea  and coffee  from all over  the world not to mention all our cakes  and muffins  and  as Paul  calls  them sweets! Every single  one  is  calorie  free! Plus of course  we now have spirits  and liquors  to warm the coldest of  you.

If we were having Coffee: Okay  let’s  start  with  Mother in Law  known  from here on in as MIL. Well  so far  this  week  we  have had her  over  twice ,  the  hubby  has  been over  to her place  and taken  her  to  the  hospital. Tuesday  MIL starts  her  Chemo. I have  absolutely  no  idea  how  this  will pan  out   but  fingers  crossed.

Today is  really  busy  as  we have  two of  our  son’s, daughter in  law , Newbie and MIL   over  for  dinner! So  it is  all hands  to  the pump  or at  least  the oven!

So  it is  leg of  lamb  for us

If we  were having  coffee:  I would  tell  you it has  been  a quiet  week  because  my  knee is  still playing up. I have  not  done  much  this  week  apart  from  housework, washing  ironing  and  blogging!

Talking  of  bloging  we are into  the  last  week  of  Love Is In Da  Blog…. where on  earth  did  February  go?

Last  week  this  week

Wednesday  my  friend  L  and  I  did  manage  to  escape  and  go off  to Windsor on  the bus  and  and have a  cup of  coffee  and a  toasted  teacake  and  a long  natter  to  set  the  world  to  rights! Unfortunately  we  could  not  walk  too far  , again because  of  my knee!

OH! Guess  What?

I had physio  again  this  week  but  to  no  avail if  anything  my  knee is  feeling  worse. In fact  after  hubby  said  he  thought  I  was  wasting  my  time  and  money  I have  cancelled  my  next  and  all visits  to  the  the physio. I hope  the  wait  to  see  the specialist  is  not too long!

If  we  were having  coffee :   I  would  have  to apologize   now  as I  really must  go now  as I have  so much  to  do  and  so little  time!!

For  now  everyone  Be  well  and  happy!

So  Bee  has  asked us  for  loved  songs  from our  childhood. Well  I was  very  much  younger than  my  brothers  and  sisters I can remember  their  music  being played  all over  the  house  on  the  old  grey  and  red Dansette  record  player.

There was Pat Boon, Elvis, Johnny  Mathis,  Buddy Holly, Matt Munro and  a  blond guy  from  London , in fact Acton Town  which  was  about  four  miles  up  the  road  from  where  we lived . That  was  Adam Faith and I  fell in  love  with his  voice  and  then  as I  grew older  with him!

It was  by  next  brother  who  loved  Adam Faith  and  Buddy  Holly and  both of  them  s  much  but  it  is  Adam Faith  who  made  the  biggest  impression  on  me  as a  child  !

My  most  favourite  song  was  Who  am I ! My  favourite  Line ?  easy:  ” Never again to sit and cry, Who Am I, Who Am I. I’ll tell my heart this time it’s really true.. I’ll tell no  I’m Mr  mighty  high  and  your  the  reason  why,  aye  aye  aye  the  ask  me  who  am I?

Adam Faith Who Am I? Lyrics

Who Am I , Who Am I

A thousand times they ask why, Who Am I, Who am I.
That I should dare to fall in love with you.
I never meant to aim so high, Who Am I Who Am I.
Well now I ask you what am I to do.

Am I supposed to sit and cry, Who Am I, Who Am I,
To tell my heart this is’nt really true.
I’ll tell no lies, I’m mister mighty high.
And you’re the reason why they ask me, Who Am I

No longer no one,
Because I’m your one,
That makes me someone,
And this I know who am I without you.

Never again to sit and cry, Who Am I, Who Am I.
I’ll tell my heart this time it’s really true.

I’ll tell no lies, I’m mister mighty high.
And you’re the reason why they ask me, Who Am I.
Who Am I Who Am I.

It  is  Saturday  again  so  Bee at  Just  Fooling  Around With Bee said : So today’s prompt is:

Love letters

Use it in any way you want to. Just one word, both words, in other meanings, an anagram, photo, story, poetry, non-fiction…. ~ go wild!

Just write with this prompt or head over to Linda’s “Stream of Consciousness Saturday” and be inspired by her. Or even more exciting: combine both 🙂.

Now that gives you a little choice 😉

Linda at  A Life in  progress said: Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “contraction.”  Make the first word of your post a contraction. For extra points make the last word one too. Have fun!quickly

Found, lost love letters hidden in plain sight.
Under the bookcase tied up with string.
When spotted her heart took flight.
Grabbing them quickly, her nerves went ping.

Dear Rebecca the first one read
I miss you , I need you by my side
Rebecca? she repeated, eyes wide
Shock, her name was, Cloe instead.

Not wanting to, yet desparate to know
She devowering every word, felt sick
Each reference to kiss or touch a blow.
Every endearment in her throat did stick

Good job, she mused, that he was gone
If still alive his life would not be worth a song
It was coming back to her now
His secretary was Rebecca skinny Sow!
