If we were having Coffee: I would remind you that there are lots of other coffee mornings all shared and organized By Diana and Gene’O over at,Part time monster
Come on in it is nice to sit and have a chat after all the hustle and bustle of the past few days. I can still entertain you all with tea and coffee from all over the world not to mention all our cakes and muffins and as Paul calls them sweets! Every single one is calorie free! Plus of course we now have spirits and liquors to warm the coldest of you.
If we were having Coffee: Okay let’s start with Mother in Law known from here on in as MIL. Well so far this week we have had her over twice , the hubby has been over to her place and taken her to the hospital. Tuesday MIL starts her Chemo. I have absolutely no idea how this will pan out but fingers crossed.
Today is really busy as we have two of our son’s, daughter in law , Newbie and MIL over for dinner! So it is all hands to the pump or at least the oven!
So it is leg of lamb for us
and Salmon for the MIL
If we were having coffee: I would tell you it has been a quiet week because my knee is still playing up. I have not done much this week apart from housework, washing ironing and blogging!
Talking of bloging we are into the last week of Love Is In Da Blog…. where on earth did February go?

Last week this week
Wednesday my friend L and I did manage to escape and go off to Windsor on the bus and and have a cup of coffee and a toasted teacake and a long natter to set the world to rights! Unfortunately we could not walk too far , again because of my knee!
OH! Guess What?
Guess who is back among us ! The one, the only Mr Paul Curran. I have not received a post from him yet but as soon as I do it will be posted up on here!! Welcome home Paul you have been missed!
Cake anyone…sorry I am forgetting my manners!

Yum Yum.
I had physio again this week but to no avail if anything my knee is feeling worse. In fact after hubby said he thought I was wasting my time and money I have cancelled my next and all visits to the the physio. I hope the wait to see the specialist is not too long!
If we were having coffee : I would have to apologize now as I really must go now as I have so much to do and so little time!!
For now everyone Be well and happy!
If we were having Coffee Original idea from parttimemonster.
And of course the

Feb 21, 2016 @ 18:10:08
I am a strong and determined woman and the MIL even more so!
Feb 21, 2016 @ 18:01:14
As a chef, I can tell you the gigot d’agneau aux pommes bourgeois looks perfect, and the salmon, crusted with garlic and capers looks yummy… which, for me, is saying a lot. Not a big salmon fan, but, that’s a good looking recipe….
Nice to hear Paul is back….

Feb 22, 2016 @ 12:00:22
Great photos, great looking food. Those cupcakes are works of art! The bus to Windsor part stirs up memories for me, making me miss dear England.
Feb 22, 2016 @ 15:52:07
Are you English, most people miss England when they are not here but are apt to moan when they are. 😉 I love it here though for all it’s faults! xxx
Feb 23, 2016 @ 12:18:39
Thanks for asking! I am not English (though of some English, Irish and Scottish ancestry), but lived in West Sussex for 2 years. I loved the bus transportation system and loved exploring via buses.
Feb 23, 2016 @ 16:31:50
Well the buses are not brilliant but you can get around on them!! Sussex is Lovely one of my son’s lives there and we often visit! You have an eclectic ancestry not unlike mine!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 13:36:08
Willow, I hope you are giving that knee of yours a chance. Hope the pain subsides and that MIL copes okay with the Chemo. What a prospect for her!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 15:44:37
Yes it is daunting but she is determined. As for the knee I am resting it as much as I can. Thank you for caring!! 🙂
Feb 22, 2016 @ 20:46:55
Sounds like you need a bit of a caring ‘ticking off,’ to use a saying of my fathers!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 21:18:09
A wise man your Dad!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 16:03:02
So sorry your knee is still acting up! Hope it gets relief soon! I love the yummy food must have been some dinner! Hope all goes well with MIL! You had a lovely time with your friend that is so special!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 16:34:33
Yes time with friends is special especially when we are under stress, and I so feel under stress. I have never been the MIL’s favourite person try as I might over the years. Now her son and I are they only ones she can lean on heavily as her other two children and their families are selfish for the want of another word. Mind you she is a gutsy lady.
The dinner was good and so lovely to have most of the family there four generations! The knee I am following all instructions , RICE Treatment and resting when I can. 🙂 xxx
Feb 22, 2016 @ 16:40:15
That is tough Willow but you are being a great person and doing so much! so bravo for you!! xxx I hope your knee gets better that is hard!
Feb 22, 2016 @ 18:57:58

Feb 22, 2016 @ 19:23:36
We do it because we need too! xxxxx
Feb 22, 2016 @ 19:27:31
