The priory on the Rim of Io

The  priory on the Rim of was the last of it’s kind almost forgotten by the rest of creation. …but not quite!

Stay away from the windows she had been told by grandfather and by Mother Superior both. They had impressed upon her the importance of her presence  being  there was to be a secret. The Nuns were all delightful and so kind but they, being a silent order could only speak to her between the hours of six and eight pm. So even though they did their best to entertain their guest she was lonely.

She spent her days , happily in the priory and it’s gardens, the smell of the strange flowers native to Io calming and soothing her. Her nights she was enthralled by the other three Galilean moons that orbit Jupiter.

Keep away from the windows at night they all told her, you must not be seen. Your condition will give you away.

She did try but the spectacular light that was generated by Io and the other three moons of Jupiter was enthralling.

Stay away from the windows they had begged her but the lights already had a hold on her.

And so it was that she , the last pregnant woman in the  Universe, the last pregnant woman in thirty years stood at the window watching the lights washing over Io.

Sadly  the bounty hunters from Mars saw her at the window, they saw her long hair and pregnant belly, too young, too beautiful to be an ancient Nun.

What future the Universe the only pregnant woman in thirty years held to ransom. All because she could not resist looking out the window.

Just Jot It January, Vampire Moon

Vampire Moon

Above the city hidden from the light

Waiting  to lauch into the night .

She yearns unending flight

Hearing the  pounding hearts

Below her lust starts.

Pumping warm red

Fangs beared

Lost scared

Weird.

Innocence Below

Bare Foot Innocence

http://s3.vidimg.popscreen.com/original/23/czZnS3VMbnhlSzAx_o_the-magical-bear-child—fantasy-trailer.jpg

Bare foot innocence  she wandered through the wild

Wrapped in furs ,holding on to  her bundle tight

Went  this  gentle otherworldly child

Advancing bravely towards the night.

Born of love and tenderness into poverty

Abandoned by bad luck  an orphaned babe

Fiercely defiant wandering alone and free

Answering only to herself  she travelled from cradle to grave.

Where are you  going, where have  you  been

Would  you like to share our food and fire

Tell us tales of the wonders you have seen

Tell us child what is your hearts desire.

All I want  is a roof to keep the rain from  my head

Food enough  to warm me and to keep my stomach quiet

A  bank of soft soft grass at night to be  my bed

Enough furs to warm me when the whole world is white.

Places a plenty  to hide from men

Enough long hair to cover my face

Peace from the lord to help me find Zen

To protect  my  maidenhead and not have it stolen, so falling from grace.

Looking into the Universe.

A drawing by Phoebe Wood

Looking into the Universe, yes even I, little me, can look and I can see. It is such an amazing view I wonder how it all started, and how it grew. Did God create some sparkly lights and throw them like dice all scattering.

Little me, my big eyes beg the answers, my little body and legs are those of a dancer, light and bright I dance I am a starlight prancer. The Universe is so vast I cannot see an end or a beginning. I try to figure it all out  but it just sets my head a spinning.

If I look up while spinning round the stars and planets are a kaleidoscope pattern  merging into one. I love to do this as I feel the Universe and I are one. All worries hopes and fears rising up, up into the stars until boom they are gone .

Why do my eyes look so sad why are they full of fear . It is not what I see in the Universe but what is said on this earth, the sad things that I hear. I shall dance and I shall watch the Universe for all the answers are there. One day we all shall know and my eyes will loose their fear.
