Thursday photo prompt: Crescent #writephoto

For visually challenged writers, the image shows the dark silhouette of a tree against a cloudy sky. The horizon is lit by the gold of dawn, while a crescent moon hangs above the tree.

This week’s prompt ~ Crescent a Nonet

Above the field bathed in silver moon light.
Waiting to launch into the night .
She yearns so for company
Hearing the pounding hearts
Below her lust starts.
Pumping red, warm
Her fangs bared
Crescent

Wordless Wednesday:Wish I was there!

Stream of Consciousness Saturday: Seeing Being.

LindaGHill  said “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “ing.”  The first word of your post must end in the letters “ing.” Extra points if the final word of the post does too. Enjoy!”

Here is  the pingback

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing  the  tide  go out  and  return every  day
Brought dreams  of  escaping  to places far away.
The  constant pounding  of the daily assault
Was  was wearing  and  diminishing. Fact, no blame, no  fault.
The sun warm  and  even hot, the  wind and  rain
Taking  their  toll season in, season out  the  same.
Falling apart, slipping  away, retreating
Millennia of erosion was indeed  threatening it’s being.
Here are the rules:
1. Your post must be stream of consciousness writing, meaning no editing, (typos can be fixed) and minimal planning on what you’re going to write.
2. Your post can be as long or as short as you want it to be. One sentence – one thousand words. Fact, fiction, poetry – it doesn’t matter. Just let the words carry you along until you’re ready to stop.
3. There will be a prompt every week. Linda will post the prompt  on her blog on Friday, along with a reminder for you to join in. The prompt will be one random thing, but it will not be a subject. For instance,  Linda  will not say “Write about dogs”; the prompt will be more like, “Make your first sentence a question,” or “Begin with the word ‘The’.”
4. Ping back! It’s important, so that Linda  and other people can come and read your post! For example, in your post you can write “This post is part of SoCS:” and then copy and paste the URL found in your address bar at the top of Linda’s most  recent Friday Prompt post into yours.  Your link will show up in Linda’s comments, for everyone to see. The most recent pingbacks will be found at the top.
5. Read at least one other person’s blog who has linked back their post. Even better, read everyone’s! If you’re the first person to link back, you can check back later, or go to the previous week, by following my category, “Stream of Consciousness Saturday,” which you’ll find right below the “Like” button on Linda’s post.
6. Copy and paste the rules (if you’d like to) in your post. The more people who join in, the more new bloggers you’ll meet and the bigger your community will get!
7. Have fun!
Wet my soul
Love is in the Da Blog : Birth of a love affair .
Fooling Around  With  Bee  said  : I have challenged you a little with the last two prompts so today we’ll go insanely creative and write a short story about “A Love Affair”.
Birth of  a love affair
Sitting at window each day
He sees her as he passes her way.
He drives to work early you see
And she is usually there  drinking  her cup  of tea.
Each morning as she starts the day
She hopes the loneliness will go away.
With her  cup of tea sitting in the bay
A lovely way to start the lonely  day .
He wonders what she would say
If he plucked up the courage and knocked at her door one day.
Perhaps an evening would be best,
With a bouquet of flowers and in his smartest suit dressed.
Looking out she’d often see the cars passing by while she is sitting there.
A handsome young man always looks her way,
So often now she almost gave  him a wave.
He looks so cute as he catches her eye
Each morning as he passes by.
She wonders would he ever stop
And through her door a note he would drop.
They could meet, that would be great
But just how to curve the paths of fate.
Time moves on and so does he,
He is one she no longer sees.
It is a shame she often thinks
As she sips her morning drinks.
One morning being early for work
She stops for a coffee to give her mind that extra perk.
Standing in the queue eyes wander
Landing on a profile that makes her heart beat stronger.
He parks his car everyday
From his work a healthy walk away.
He likes to exercise, he always wonders if the girl in the bay
Has noticed he no longer passes her way.
She was so cute, he thinks of her most every day.
As  he stops for coffee at the usual place,
Waiting in the queue he sees a familiar face.
So as they both turn and come face to face
She smiles at him their  hearts  pick up  the pace.
He flashes her his biggest smile
As butterflies tango in his tummy all the while.
Would she like a coffee she hears him ask,
She would and she tells him so,
Shall we drink it here have you time before you have to go.
So shall we leave them sitting there together now at last .
They do look happy to have met. The shop is busy but they are all alone.
After work they both return to meet, she loves her flowers and then he drives her home…….  ❤  ❤
Love is in Da Blog: BRAVE ENOUGH TO SAY.
Just Messing  Around  With  Bee said : Today I am trying myself again on another sensitive subject: Being  transgender.
Well I  did   transgender yesterday  so  I shall hae  to do yesterdays  prompt  today , so I shall tackle  the gay / lesbian subject today.
That  will teach  me to read  the prompt  more carefully.
Brave enough  to say.
How  can I tell her how I feel
Will she  believe  me  and take  my  feelings  as real.
This  really means  the world  to me
The  reason of  my  life  is  she.
We spend  hours  together  having  fun
I should hate  for  our friendship  to be undone
By  something  I need to say
Once  said it cannot  be taken away.
My body quakes  when she is  near
But  that  she will laugh, or worse hate me is what I fear.
I need to tell her  exactly  how I feel
I need to show her my  love is real.
Here she comes I must tell her  now
Or  I shall explode or  die I vow.
I take  the plunge  and  say the words I need to say.
Her pouting lips  smile and  say, I love  you too,sweet  girl in every way.
Lorde  Yellow Flicker : Mockingjay  Part 1 Hunger games
What is  this came  true?
Years before the start of the series, the thirteen districts attempted to start a revolution against the Capitol. The Capitol won, District 13 was destroyed and, as punishment, an annual televised death match called The Hunger Games was created by the Capitol. Two participants, one male and one female, known as tributes, between the ages of 12 and 18 are chosen randomly in a “reaping” from each district. Children may volunteer as a tribute instead of selection by ballot. They are taken to an arena and fight until only one is left alive.[8]
Katniss Everdeen is a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th Hunger Games after her 12-year-old sister Primrose Everdeen is picked for reaping. She survives the games along with Peeta Mellark when they both defy the Capitol by threatening to commit suicide.[8]
The Capitol is angry at their defiance, which inspires rebellion in several districts. Katniss and Peeta tour the districts, attempting to subdue the rebellion. Then, the reaping for the next Hunger Games takes place. For these games, part of the “Quarter Quell” that takes place every 25 years, winners of past games are forced to participate. When only a few participants remain in the games, including Katniss and Peeta, the arena is destroyed. Three of the tributes, including Katniss, are rescued by survivors of District 13, but the other three tributes, including Peeta, are captured by Capitol hovercrafts.[9]
The rebellion continues with Katniss being used as a figurehead.[10]     more info  here
Elastic Heart: Catching Fire Sung  by Sia
A Future  world vision.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chandelier  by Sia.

A whole generation  hunger  for meaning  in their lives. They  want  a real reason to their  being. They don’t  see it  so  they  drink. They  get drunk  before  they go out  then  they act badly  then  they hunger  for  forgiveness to get away  from their shame… they do not get what  they want  so  they drink more!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then there is self inflicted hunger,  some starve  themselves  because  they  do not want  to grow up, because  they  are  or have been abused. So  many reasons  for anorexia . Song  from Maria Mena
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charles Dickens  wrote  the story, Lionel Bart  wrote  the songs.

A clever  song  from Marina  and  the Diamonds.  About  how  the  media  and fashion  world  wants  to sell the female  as a perfect (  just as relevant for males too) It depicts one girl  bucking  the system!

The  most reliant song  about  hunger  to this day. Band Aid. Do  they know its Christmas. 1984

Life’s Blood, Lifeline.

Life's Blood

Life’s Blood

She  struggles to survive

Reaching out to sunlight to be alive.

Hidden in the shadows always  veiled

Heart felt pleas made  but failed.

OH! how long in the backstreets must she her light hide

Why can’t  she leave run colour bleed across a filed wide.

To flourish  and bloom, her hues to deepen as her soul flies

Skipping and jumping up, up  into the clear blue skies.

Withering and  thirsting she fights  for the light

Struggling  here hidden in her endless night.

She  clings  to her dreams of racing across virgin fields

Opening up her soul bearing her all in dreams of glorious yields.

Find her , save her throw  her a life  line

Carry  her out into the sun shine.

Free her, let  her grow see her escape

Covering all with her blooming cape.

Long distance love.

And still, around my wrist, I carry the key to your heart

My love untouched , unchanged  by the miles that keep us apart.

I reach out for you, do you reach out for me

So much  between us now , fields cliffs and sea.

This hunger in my soul is gorging me from the inside out

I can no longer bleed, or eat or cope I need you so, no doubt.

I see you in my mind’s eye,  I crave for you to be here

I reach out to you I feel that I could die. I need your touch, your kiss I need you near.

We are far apart, reaching out to you our skin does not touch skin

My heart is breaking , frozen and cold ice flows through my veins so thin.

Where are you now, my love are you still breathing

This need , this lust for you will not cease . It hurts, it hurts like grieving!
