Stream of Consciousness Saturday:Tip.

Badge by Shelley Krupa..

Well here we are again it’s Saturday and time for LindaGHill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week Linda said : “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “tip.” Use it as a noun or a verb. Have fun!”

Dancing on tip toes.

image from here.

Just like being stretched upon the rack

Bruised toes tip to to tip and aching back.

Practice practice every day

No time to sooth those pains away.

Willowy thin is hard to maintain

On your tip toes again and again.

If you grow too wide or too tall

Take my tip you will lose it all.

Shorty at the tip of glory portraying

Nutcracker or the  Swanlake story.

A few weeks of fame, reward for a

Lifetime of self denial and pain.

Tip toe back to the chorus again.

******

Can I give you a tip, if you can’t think how to write a post after two hours and umpteen attempts give up! Tip a wink, let’s someone know something of importance early. Tip of the iceberg, meaning a subject or a person is deeper than they appear at first glance.. To tip your hat , a greeting or a salute. A racing tip , someone in the know let’s you know which horse to back. Tip toe, to move very quietly , without making a sound. Dancing on tip toes.Tipping, giving a gratitude to any one who serves you in any way. To tip , to lean too far and fall ☺️ I am good at that so is Del boy.

Oh! Yes I do love that so much …..even though the second time I broke my back I fainted in the kitchen I fell back like Del but on the way down hit the breakfast bar and then the stone floor….. The surgeons thought I’d either come off of a motor bike or a horse…. Poor Del I always laugh at him bless.💜💜💜😂😂😂

You did a great job; what are you complaining about? 🙂 I want to know how in the heck anyone stretches like those ballerinas.

It took me ages to do that post! 😂😂😂😂. As to the stretches I really have no idea. I did ballet and tap as a child…. I was the fairy elephant in the room 😁😁🤣😁

‘Tip’ as an association with ballet is an inspired direction. It really DOES go along with it.

Well done! Ballerinas put their bodies through so much pain – they have to love it because it makes no sense otherwise.
And that clip was a hoot!
