Daily Prompt – JusJoJan the 5th, 2020

It’s the 5th day of Just Jot it January 2020! Linda here with our prompt, which was generously supplied by Faye, of Faye’s Mystical Musings.  “Your prompt for JusJoJan January 5th, 2020, is “intention.” Use the word “intention” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions” One of my wise mother’s many sayings. It means many things done done for good reasons do only harm. Thinking on these lines I have written an Acrostic Etheree thinking of Mum’s words.

If

No one

Thinks or cares

Each of us pay

Never knowing what

The consequences are

It could blow our world apart

Or it could simply break a heart

Nothing good came from bad intentions

So beware your actions may betray you.

Love your poem using Intention as the first letter of each line. My husband also told me every now and again that the path to hell is covered with good intentions. (He was the one with the good intentions he couldn’t keep)

Bad only creates bad. If we want to have a change for the better we need to spread seeds of love.

My mother used that saying frequently as well. Perfect!

Beautifully done Willow. Like the country being told to buy diesel driven as it appeared safer. But within a few years, the science found this to not be the case. Now we know better.
