The Friday Reminder for #SoCS & #JusJoJan 2020 Daily Prompt – Jan. 4th

Welcome to the first of this year’s, duel Daily 2020 Just Jot it January Prompt and the Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt for SATURDAY, JANUARY 4TH!  Our fabulous host LindaGHill said : Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “ow.” Find a word that contains “ow” or use it as a word in your post. Have fun!

Don’t wallow in sorrow

There’s always some hope you can borrow.

Maybe stay in bed there’s always tomorrow

That may sound pathetic and hollow

Be how long must you misery swallow?

Na, jump in the ocean drown in the billows

Pull up the blankets hide under the pillows.

Now is not the time to follow

The lead of your fellows

No don’t wallow in your sorrows.

Be like the crow don’t follow

Humanity’s sad flow

Make like a fine wine, be mellow.

Be like the the fleeting snow

Hold back those horses shout Wow!

Stoke up the fire your life with bellows

No don’t wallow in your sorrows.

I could go on but I won’t .

Nice job with all the ‘ow’ words. Like ‘don’t jump in the ocean and drown in the billows.’
