It’s the fourth week of the month which means I’ll pick a theme for you to write about for this month. On the Monday before the next challenge, I’ll select someone to choose next month’s theme.

This month’s theme is: “The Circle of Life”

I have done two sets of Haiku. In syllables of, 5/7/5, 3/5/3 and 2/3/2. One set on human life and the other set on nature.

Of the womb we are born

We flourish and grow full bloom

Then we turn to multch

Born from womb

Encompassing life

All things die

*******

We’re born

Then we grow

We die

Seeds germinate life

Blossoms germinate full bloom

Life drains down through roots

Blossom grows

From seed and life roots

Cycle ends.

Blooms

Petals spread

Then sleep

Our prompt for JusJoJan January 28th, 2020, is “television.” Use the word “television” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

Now we had the same prompt last year for Television, it fell on Saturday 19th January so was also a Stream of Consciousness Saturday. I have included the poem I did then an Acrostic poem entitled Tele vision. But first I will do a new poem for today.

Television

No need to leave your room

Feet and hands will be redundant soon

Life, the whole world is brought to you

Stories coming at you, make you happy make you blue

You’re no longer out feeling what you’ve seen

Because you’ve been sucked inside your Television screen.

Tele vision

To see afar

Everything from sea to star

Logie Baird had a dream

Everyone would watch a screen

Voyeurisum gone mad

Is that really so bad

So we graduated from Radio

Into dreams of vision flow

Only to drown in information

No limits, seeing all destination.
