Sue Vincent's Daily Echo

Reblogged from Noreen Lace:

Hello:

Thank you so much for having me on your blog. I’m very glad to be here.

SmashwordsCoverAs you read, you’ll also see that I’ve included Campbell my Seeing Eye Guide Dog and why I chose to do so.

My name is Patty L. Fletcher. I’m a single mother with a beautiful daughter, of whom I am very proud. I have a great son-in-law and five beautiful grandchildren. Three girls, and two boys. Colleen’s 2019 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 126, “Poet’s Choice of Words”

It’s the first Tuesday of the month and that means we can choose our own words and there is no need to use synonyms .

I have chosen to do a Nonet today in honour of the coming spring. My two words are Spring and Hope.

Rules here

Hope springs eternal this time of year.

Winter lingers but have no fear

New life awaits to burst forth

Chill winds hover from north

Tiny buds grow

White, blue, golden

Emboldened

Spring is

Hope.

A Sign From Above

Gab returned the tools he had borrowed from Joseph. Mary smiled and offered him a cuppa. Gab enjoyed tea and a chat with the big man’s mum.
Meanwhile Satan was stunned who had dared to put up that dodgy sign at the entrance to his domain. Gab smiled at Mary, was the tide turning?
