This is my entry for LindaGHill‘s Stream of Consciousness Saturday.
Linda’s challenge this week is “Our favourite word, use it in the post, base a post on it or just write about it’s concept” most important have fun.
My favourite word is Celestial, I did want to do an Acrostic Nonet but you need ten letters to write one of those. So I decided to do an Acrostic, almost Nonet. Almost Nonet because celestial only has nine letters. Okay enough explanations here is my celestial poem.
CELESTIAL
Can you see the stars up above
Endlessly stretching universe
Light dies out like lost love
Each tiny spec a star
Solar or Lunar
Timeless they move
Infinite
All just
Light

Wonderful acrostic and choice of word. One of the enjoyment in life is being able to sit and watch the stars away from the city.
