Lune Day 16

At Kat Myrman‘s suggestion, along with Jane Dougherty, I’m trying out the Lune form this month. The Lune is a three line poem, either 5/3/5 syllables or 3/5/3 words.

Don’t do as I do

Cower down

I own you, that’s true.

Reservation

“What do you mean you don’t have my reservation? I made it three weeks ago and here is my email confirmation.”

“No I do not want to calm down I want to see a manager! No , not your colleague your Manager! ”

“I have been traveling for 24hrs solid and my patience is running thin.”

“No I do not want to go to the bar and have complimentary drink! I want my room for which I have a reservation!”

“Is this your manager? Hello I am sorry to make a fuss but I have a reservation and I just want to go to my room. PLEASE.”

“Pardon! Your sister hotel?”

“What ! It’s a common mistake?”

“How, I was brought here, by taxi.”

“Oh! They do this a lot… Do they.”

“Yes fine get me a taxi, thank you.”

“Why didn’t your staff notice this.”

“What! They like a joke????”

“Really?”

“Look just get me a taxi and tell him where to take me. ”

“Thank you. ”

…….

“Oh! What, we’re here . Thank you. Keep the change.”

“Hello I have a reservation, yes that is my name.”

“I see your sister hotel rang ahead did they ? ”

“This is my room? ”

“Oh! Thank you it’s glorious. ”

“No , no nothing else I just need to sleep. ”

“Thank Goodness! ”

The door shuts.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
