DARK SKIES

However hard I try

I cannot  find  blue sky.

It has  been stolen, whisked away.

No more sunny  days.

The  dark clouds  and the rain have set in

As all my trouble have decided to begin.

To grow  and multiply

Here I stand  and wonder why.

When you where here all was fun

Why have  you deserted me and  taken the sun.

Leaving  me broken and in  pain

Lost, alone and in the rain!

The skies have been dark, but I think they’ll brighten soon. I’d pull you from the rain anytime 🙂

Why must words be so powerful as to reduce me to tears after the first verse?! I really like this poem, it manages to turn something as depressing as a rainy day into something artistic and beautiful.
