Eyes of blue

The  eyes  are  the window  to the soul,

Myriad  are  the secrets  that  they  hold

So deep and  dark  they   swallow  you  whole.

Some  like ice  they leave  you cold.

I do not  know  why

Our  souls  are  captive  in the eye

I only  now it is  true

If  you look into  my  eyes of  blue

You will see  the love I have  for  you.
