Finally Redemption and Hope

Lost in eternal night

For  all the  years  she had  wondered out in the world  alone

Never  did  she  forsake  the hope  that  she  would  find home.

A suitcase  and  a rose  her only  possessions

Outcast, untouched  by  life’s  procession.

Centuries  past  and  she  never aged nor gained peace

Hiding  from the sun, trapped  by night. With no release.

Little  Vampire  they took your soul

Gave  you  the  night  to play in  but never  made  you whole.

No tears  can flee  those  beautiful eyes

Eyes  that  never gaze on  blue skies

Pale  skin that  never  feel the  gentle warm touch

Of  the golden sun, that you still miss so much.

Those  who have  crossed  your  path never live  to tell

You  take  their life’s  blood  and  it prolongs  your hell.

You long  for warmth  that you vaguely  remember

To  skip in fields with others like  that long  ago September.

Step into the sun

I think  you have paid  for  your  past sins

We need  to  take  you  back to where  all this  begins.

Too see if  we can find  your  soul

To bless  you and  make  you  whole.

If  you  will just  step into  the  Sun’s heat

Take  my  hand  and  we will your  saviour  meet.

It will only  take a minute  for  you to burn

Then  born again,  God’s  love  your learn .
