Colleen’s 2020 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 162, #ThemePrompt

WELCOME TO TANKA TUESDAY!

Challenge Badge

It’s the fourth week of the month which means I’ll pick a theme for you to write about for this month. On the Monday before the next challenge, I’ll select someone to choose next month’s theme.

This month’s theme is: “The Circle of Life”

I have done two sets of Haiku. In syllables of, 5/7/5, 3/5/3 and 2/3/2. One set on human life and the other set on nature.

Wasn’t sure what the theme “The Circle of Life” was about until I read Willow’s. It’s just what it says it is.

Well done, Willow! You are really getting how easy it is to write those more abbreviated forms. I’m loving where you went with these. ❤

Willow: Blossom grows, From seed and life roots, Cycle ends. I used this Haiku in my new book. You retain all rights to your poetry. I give you credit in the bibliography. ❤ Thanks, friend. ❤
