Whether and Weather
Whether to take the dog we didn’t know
Would she like it, we decided so!
Off to visit brother and then son
By the sea and in the sun.
Would the weather be kind
So with that in mind
We took three different types of shoe
And jumpers, hoodies raincoats too!
We wondered whether the Downs or Sea.
For our Ruby to run free
It was such a lovely hazy day
Perfect weather to run and play.
Son and dog got on so well
Running up hill and dale
So we chose the Devil’s Dike
Room to walk and space to hike
Then to a pub for drink and dinner
The one we chose was such a winner
We all had a perfect day, none better
All thanks to family dog and weather.
