Just Jot It January : Dashshund: Nonet Acrostic

THIS IS  PART  OF  LINDAGHILL’S  JUST JOT IT JANUARY

Jan 4  Today’s  prompt  is  Dachshund brought  to us  by morgaine620

Dragging his belly just above ground

Always wagging his little tail

Chasing  from side  to side  bound

Happpily he won’t fail

Sunshine to give his

Human such joy

Unleashed run

Near me

Dog!

Nice job, willow… gotta love ’em, the fearless critters…

As a boy, we had a Doxie named, naturally, Heidi… Her favorite place to sleep was curled up against one kids stomach or another, any time one of us slept…. I can’t remember how many times I’d wake up from a nap to find her up against me, protecting me as I slept….

She set the standard high for any dog; not one has ever failed to meet it…. not that I’ve known…. Way better people than any people I know….

    🙂
