Magic Mittens

There in the  window  were  the  magic mittens

She  stood in the  snow  totally  smitten.

Oh! she longed  to  own  them feel them in her hand

She  knew  they  would  suit  her  and  they would look grand.

No Mittens

Maggie  always  wanted  mittens

Intent on owning  some  was  she

Treasure to her were they

Teasing  her  from  the  shop window

Eagerly  she  counted  her  pennies

Needing  just a  few  more

Suddenly  they were gone!!!!!!

Deeply wanted  hand warmers

Why are  they not mine

Pearl and  grey lovingly made.
