Death of a planet

Damn  you I see you all

Every action large  or small.

Why do you rape  and abuse  me

Tell me, when I give  you my all, for free?

I lay here at your feet bleeding and broken

Not one of you have listened to the words I’ve spoken.

You’ve been warned, cajoled and I have implored

You don’t listen or care. My warnings you ignore!

Dying, now I spew poison  that you have mined

You, you alone  have caused my death by that you are defined!

My skin is parched and burned, baron and scorched  am I

No animals move, my seas and lakes empty no birds left in my sky.

I weep but my tears just turn to steam  no relief

You have watched  me suffer yet you have just added to my  grief.

I am fading fast, there is nowhere to go. I am a shadow of myself

As pale as you brother moon , as dead too because of their greed for my wealth.

Dead am I

Why did you not try

Your wars and greed

And now in death I bleed.

Interlude: Looking Back…

A beautiful clip from Sue Vincent’s silent Eye Blog.

“The circle opened its heart to welcome me back… and ‘welcoming’ was exactly the feeling Stuart reported later, with a good deal of surprise. It was not what he had expected from the place at all. It is hard to find words that describe it… as if each of the different types of stone… the sarsens, bluestones, gneiss and many others… all sing a different note, but no matter how beautifully they harmonise, their song needs to pass through the human heart in order to be heard, felt and lived. So it was with tears of gratitude streaming… and probably a very silly grin… that we finally entered the circle of stones.”

Song Lyric Sunday

Here we go full steam to spooky.

Andrew Maurice Gold  1951 –  2011 Coposer Of Rectuma His  Halloween Howls, featuring His Legendary  “Spooky Scary Skeletons Don’t Scream (It’s Only Halloween)  Trick Or Treat Witches, Witches, Witches

Yes the very same Andrew Maurice Gold (August 2, 1951 – June 3, 2011) was an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer who influenced much of the sound of Los Angeles-dominated pop rock in the 1970s. Gold played on scores of records by other artists, most notably Linda Ronstadt‘s, and had his own success with the U.S. Top 40 hits “Lonely Boy” (1977) and “Thank You for Being a Friend” (1978), as well as the UK Top Five hit “Never Let Her Slip Away” (1978). In the 1980s, he had further international chart success as half of Wax, a collaboration with 10cc‘s Graham Gouldman.

Trick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t
We don’t care
We’ll put red ants in your hair
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treatOnce a year
When the leaves are brown
October 31st rolls around
Kids come out when the sun goes down
You know they’re comin’
When you hear this soundTrick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t hee hee hee
We’ll put snails upon your feet
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treatGhosts and witches, monsters too
Men from space, and bats say boo
Cowboys and fairies what a zoo
Better be ready
They’re coming for youTrick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t, never mind
You can sit on a porcupine
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treat

Whats that creeping uuuupppp
Your drive is it a zombie ooh
I’m terrified could it be pirates
Now live nearby wait I think
I know! it’s only Halloween!Trick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat

Season of the Witch” is a song by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan released in September 1966 on his third American album, Sunshine Superman. The song is credited to Donovan, although sometime collaborator Shawn Phillips has also claimed authorship.[4] Because of a dispute with Donovan’s record company, a UK edition with the song was not released until June 1967. Several artists have recorded their own renditions, including Julie Driscoll with Brian Auger and the Trinity (1967, Open); Al Kooper with Steve Stills (1968, Super Session); Terry Reid (1968, Bang Bang You’re Terry Reid); Vanilla Fudge (1968, Renaissance); Dr. John with the Blues Brothers Band (1998, Blues Brothers 2000); Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (2004; Naked) and Lana Del Rey (2019, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark soundtrack). The song is used in films such as Gus van Sant’s To Die For and Adam McKay’s The Other Guys. More information here

She Wolf” is a song by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, taken from her eighth studio album of the same name (2009). It was released on 10 July 2009, by Epic Records as the lead single from the album. The song was written by Shakira, John Hill, and Sam Endicott. Shakira and Hill also served as the producers for the song. A Spanish-language translation of the song titled “Loba“, which features additional lyrical contributions by Jorge Drexler, was also released earlier on 6 July. Musically, “She Wolf” is a hi-NRGsynth-pop and electropop track that details Shakira’s boredom due to her uncaring partner, and how she looks for others to please her.

Upon its release, “She Wolf” was met with favourable reception from music critics, many of whom praised it for its inventiveness. Commercially, “She Wolf” performed well on record charts. It peaked in the top 10 of charts of countries like Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. In the United States, “She Wolf” peaked at numbers 11 and one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Dance/Club Play Songs charts, respectively. The Spanish-language translation “Loba” peaked at number one on both the Hot Latin Songs and Tropical Songs charts. “She Wolf” was certified double-platinum in Spain and platinum in Italy, Mexico, and the United States.

An accompanying music video for the song was directed by Jake Nava, and features Shakira dancing in various locations, such as a red cave and a golden cage. Critical reception towards the video was also positive, many of whom praised Shakira’s dancing ability. For additional promotion, Shakira performed the song on a number of shows and music festivals. It was also a part of the setlist for The Sun Comes Out World Tour in 2010. More information here

“She Wolf”

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

A domesticated girl that’s all you ask of me,
Darling, it is no joke, this is lycanthropy.
Moon’s awake now, with eyes wide open
My body is craving, so feed the hungry

I’ve been devoting myself to you Monday to Monday and Friday to Friday
Not getting enough retribution or decent incentives to keep me at it
Starting to feel just a little abused like a coffee machine in an office, ah
So I’m gonna go somewhere closer to get me a lover and tell you about it

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Open up and set it free [wolf sound]
There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]

Sitting across the bar, staring right at her prey,
It’s going well so far, she’s gonna get her way.
Nocturnal creatures are not so prudent,
The moon’s my teacher, and I’m her student.

To locate the single man I’ve got on me a special radar,
And the fire department’s hot line in case I get in trouble later
Not looking for cute little divas or rich city guys that just want to enjoy
I’m having a very good time and behave very bad in the arms of a boy

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Open up and set it free [wolf sound]
There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise [breathes heavily]
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]
