Andrew Maurice Gold  1951 –  2011 Coposer Of Rectuma His  Halloween Howls, featuring His Legendary  “Spooky Scary Skeletons Don’t Scream (It’s Only Halloween)  Trick Or Treat Witches, Witches, Witches

Yes the very same Andrew Maurice Gold (August 2, 1951 – June 3, 2011) was an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer who influenced much of the sound of Los Angeles-dominated pop rock in the 1970s. Gold played on scores of records by other artists, most notably Linda Ronstadt‘s, and had his own success with the U.S. Top 40 hits “Lonely Boy” (1977) and “Thank You for Being a Friend” (1978), as well as the UK Top Five hit “Never Let Her Slip Away” (1978). In the 1980s, he had further international chart success as half of Wax, a collaboration with 10cc‘s Graham Gouldman.

Lyrics.

Trick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t
We don’t care
We’ll put red ants in your hair
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treatOnce a year
When the leaves are brown
October 31st rolls around
Kids come out when the sun goes down
You know they’re comin’
When you hear this soundTrick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t hee hee hee
We’ll put snails upon your feet
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treatGhosts and witches, monsters too
Men from space, and bats say boo
Cowboys and fairies what a zoo
Better be ready
They’re coming for youTrick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t, never mind
You can sit on a porcupine
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treat

Whats that creeping uuuupppp
Your drive is it a zombie ooh
I’m terrified could it be pirates
Now live nearby wait I think
I know! it’s only Halloween!Trick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t
We don’t care
We’ll put red ants in your hair
Trick or treat
Trick or treat
We love candy oh so sweet
Each and every Halloween
We all say trick or treatTrick or treat
Trick or treat
Give us something good to eat
If you don’t hee hee hee
We’ll put snails upon your feet
Trick or treat

Season of the Witch” is a song by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan released in September 1966 on his third American album, Sunshine Superman. The song is credited to Donovan, although sometime collaborator Shawn Phillips has also claimed authorship.[4] Because of a dispute with Donovan’s record company, a UK edition with the song was not released until June 1967. Several artists have recorded their own renditions, including Julie Driscoll with Brian Auger and the Trinity (1967, Open); Al Kooper with Steve Stills (1968, Super Session); Terry Reid (1968, Bang Bang You’re Terry Reid); Vanilla Fudge (1968, Renaissance); Dr. John with the Blues Brothers Band (1998, Blues Brothers 2000); Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (2004; Naked) and Lana Del Rey (2019, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark soundtrack). The song is used in films such as Gus van Sant’s To Die For and Adam McKay’s The Other Guys. More information here

She Wolf” is a song by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, taken from her eighth studio album of the same name (2009). It was released on 10 July 2009, by Epic Records as the lead single from the album. The song was written by Shakira, John Hill, and Sam Endicott. Shakira and Hill also served as the producers for the song. A Spanish-language translation of the song titled “Loba“, which features additional lyrical contributions by Jorge Drexler, was also released earlier on 6 July. Musically, “She Wolf” is a hi-NRGsynth-pop and electropop track that details Shakira’s boredom due to her uncaring partner, and how she looks for others to please her.

Upon its release, “She Wolf” was met with favourable reception from music critics, many of whom praised it for its inventiveness. Commercially, “She Wolf” performed well on record charts. It peaked in the top 10 of charts of countries like Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. In the United States, “She Wolf” peaked at numbers 11 and one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Dance/Club Play Songs charts, respectively. The Spanish-language translation “Loba” peaked at number one on both the Hot Latin Songs and Tropical Songs charts. “She Wolf” was certified double-platinum in Spain and platinum in Italy, Mexico, and the United States.

An accompanying music video for the song was directed by Jake Nava, and features Shakira dancing in various locations, such as a red cave and a golden cage. Critical reception towards the video was also positive, many of whom praised Shakira’s dancing ability. For additional promotion, Shakira performed the song on a number of shows and music festivals. It was also a part of the setlist for The Sun Comes Out World Tour in 2010. More information here

“She Wolf”

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

A domesticated girl that’s all you ask of me,
Darling, it is no joke, this is lycanthropy.
Moon’s awake now, with eyes wide open
My body is craving, so feed the hungry

I’ve been devoting myself to you Monday to Monday and Friday to Friday
Not getting enough retribution or decent incentives to keep me at it
Starting to feel just a little abused like a coffee machine in an office, ah
So I’m gonna go somewhere closer to get me a lover and tell you about it

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Open up and set it free [wolf sound]
There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]

Sitting across the bar, staring right at her prey,
It’s going well so far, she’s gonna get her way.
Nocturnal creatures are not so prudent,
The moon’s my teacher, and I’m her student.

To locate the single man I’ve got on me a special radar,
And the fire department’s hot line in case I get in trouble later
Not looking for cute little divas or rich city guys that just want to enjoy
I’m having a very good time and behave very bad in the arms of a boy

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Open up and set it free [wolf sound]
There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise [breathes heavily]
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

S.O.S. she’s in disguise
S.O.S. she’s in disguise
There’s a she wolf in disguise
Coming out, coming out, coming out

There’s a she wolf in the closet,
Let it out so it can breathe [inhales, exhales]

I feel you here now
Tell me why you haunt me still

You left on a row

I am a ghost of myself

I died, you haunt me from life.

Ghost

Dark  the  night  as  the lonely  soul takes  flight

Cold the wind that moans.Huddled together in fright

Caught by  the  night  children out alone on  the  moor

She  watches  their  progress  as  she has  done before.

Large  is  the  moon with it’s  silver  grey  light

As it runs  from  the  sun  and her  gold rays so bright.

So bound up  and lost is  she in a hell  all her  own

Yet  still  she  needs  to  guide  those  innocent  children  home.

Wandering ghost  so  sad  what  did  you  do  that  was  so  bad

Maybe  nothing but regret  for the  children  you never had.

Did  you  go  to your grave  you  wishes  undone  and unfulfilled

That  now  you  spend  your time  watching over  innocents and  doing  no  ill.

Five Photos Five Stories:Nonet : Dead all Dead

Will you  weep  for  me  when I  am gone

Notice  I  am lost  from  the  throng.

Stretched on my  grave unseen

I cannot  touch you now

Only in your dreams.

Lost  to sun, I

A creature

Of the

Night.

The Path less Traveled

IMG_20140623_084201379_HDRBy chance  we found the path  less traveled

Wandering down it, enchanted we watched as reality unraveled.

Time  stood  still only  we were  moving

Lies  and truth fought for honesty’s proving.

The birds were hushed  the wind  was  still

Grass grew in the middle  of  the road  as it slipped down hill.

Cotton wool clouds in an azure  blue sky

Strangely empty  not one bird up in it did fly.

Travelling on  in the afternoons glow we felt  the presence

Of  those who before had  passed  the is way be they lord  or peasants.

I felt  as if  I could reach out and touch them in some way

Not knowing  whether it were they or us that were really here  this day.

Shadows dancing on the ground as a gentle  breeze rose up

The sound of bees buzzing as in the flowers the supped.

All was peaceful and gentle that day.

As we with long gone souls did travel that way.

By chance  we found the path  less traveled

Wandering down it, enchanted we watched as reality unraveled.

Time  stood  still only  we were  moving

Lies  and truth fought for honesty’s proving.

Trio of Halloween Haiku

Smoke from pumpkins fill the air

Spells and treats  everywhere

Ghosts and Ghouls hide everywhere .

Late  returning home to bed

Sweets in tummys fuzzy heads

Home sweet home sleepy head

Vampires , witches and gaunt ghouls

Late night stay out fools

Halloween unholy evil night.
