What Day is it Anyway? Friday, March 20th, 2020

Why is Linda hosting this post.

She said.”Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day five since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.

Today should of been day three of our Caribbean holiday. Sun ,sea, beach and cocktails?

Where we should of been
Where we actually are!

Well I can’t change that can I? They shut St. Lucia down a few hours before we were due to fly there. 🥴. So today, up early and fed Ruby and let her into the garden, made breakfast, checked on Mother in Law, by phone. Hubby took Ruby for a walk, cleaned the house, number two son rang he’s okay, phoned my cousin to see how she is. Then we had to pick hubby’s car up from the garage.. that was exciting as I got out the house and got to drive ….it’s so quiet out there really odd.

Got home and started to make stew and soup, veg soup and beef stew. We actually prefer lamb stew but beef was all we had.

Rang my sister, Teresa and then my sister Frankie, who has been very ill with a chest infection. Sisters checked on, son number one rang … long chat, he lives in Brighton and is working from home and he is easily depressed.

Then son number two rang again he has a job dealing with the public, he is in an at risk catagory health wise. Finally after a fortnight of worry he has been sent home for a minimum of twelve weeks. We will be in touch by phone and Skype .

Time to walk Ruby again my turn this time when we return hubby had taken some food over to a friend who was unwell and unable to get any in the shops.

Results of panic buying.

Now is the time for being helpful and kind to friends and neighbours. Then it was time to clear up again, then another friend rang asking for some help. After that hubby cut the lawn and I prepared dinner. Son number three rang he, his wife and our two beautiful grandsons are all fine, the schools closed today indefinitely.

We had dinner , I cooked stir fried prawn bean and broccoli.

Dinner

Now we are sitting back and relaxing I have to say today was busier than yesterday ….even so what day is it anyway?

Well that’s it for today.

Lets have a happy song. She knows you know, by Imogen Heap.
