BEARSPAWPRINT

I’ve been known by other names, but I am both Agawela and Bear, for now, and Bearspawprint is the sign that am leaving.

Bearspawprint is as a  shadow, a passing wind whispering words, a memory almost composed

Now and again I feel an urge to dance that youthful life dance, but really it is more nostalgia for the joy that comes when wonder flows and surges and requires expression.

I’ve been greatly blessed in this life.  I’ve been allowed to have adventures, see beautiful places, meet amazing people, hear incredible musicians, participate in joyous experiences, and care for children, experience love.  Once in while I am able to transcend my sorry mess of a self, and be free … and some of the rest of the time I can pretend.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Check out  Bear’s  About  page  here
When I  first  met  Bear I  was in  a dark place  and  she recognized  this. In her  calm and  caring way  she  drew  me out  and  encouraged  me  to  experiment  and  expand  myself. Her  musical tastes  are  truly  eclectic an  she has  introduced  me  to  so  much.
Bear  has such  an open  mind  she has  listened  to  and  enjoyed  some of  my  musical  tastes  too! A few  years  back  Bear   encouraged  a  few of  us  to  join her in  what  started off  as  weekly  Music  themes we  all  enjoyed  and  stretched ourselves  here is  one  of  Bears   most  beautiful post  Death  and Rebirth   please  do  go  and  feast  your  eyes  and ears!
Then  there  are  bear’s  fabulous  conversations  with  Bump onna Log. Here is  how  Bear   explains this  section.
CONVERSATIONS WITH BUMP ONNA LOG  is composed of quotes from a composite group of not so fictitious persons. I will use actual quotes without permission. The BUMP ONNA LOG persona is composed of male, female, old, young, personally known, and merely overheard. No one will be personally identified. It may be that you will recognize some of these bits of dialogue and/or comments. If I quote “Bear”, mostly likely I really did say what I credit myself with saying, but maybe I didn’t.  I am sure there are those who would debate my recall.  If I misquote anyone, it is entirely my own fault, and maybe I did it on purpose, or even by accident.  *******************
and  here is  a sample.
5. CONVERSATIONS WITH BUMP ONNA LOG
.
.
BEAR:   Bump Onna Log, I forgive you….
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:   What for? I didn’t do anything.
.
BEAR:   … and I forgive you for not apologizing …
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:   Just forget it. It’s water under the bridge.
.
Bear:   I would feel a little bit better though, if you did apologize and …
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:   But there’s nothin’ for me to be sorry for. I didn’t do anything to be sorry about.
.
Bear:    I forgive you anyway ..
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:    I wasn’t aware that I did anything … You just exaggerate everything! You never listen to a word I say! (turning and starting to walk away) Mutter, mutter, mumble, heifer, mumble…
.
BEAR:    (hurrying to catch up and get in line of sight) I’m sorry, I was trying to listen, but I just didn’t hear what you said when you turned your back and walked away. Were you talking to me?
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:   What’s the use of even trying, you don’t ever pay attention, and that’s all your imagination!!
.
BEAR:   But I do want to know what you want to say to me.
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:    I don’t want to say anything! Now quit throwing it in my face! I told you, that is all your imagination. Bygones are bygones. Let it alone! There is just no pleasing you! (Turns to walk in a different direction) mutter mutter … I have to … mutter mutter… mutter work … mutter put up with … mumble …. inaudible
.
BEAR:    Do you want me to know what you are saying?  I  am able to  hear a word hear /here   (starts to giggle) and here …..
.
BUMP ONNA LOG:  You always make an argument out of everything ….
Female, wife, full time mother and Grandmother. I am not as happy go lucky as I used to be but I am still bubbling along on simmer! I have three handsome sons all grown and flown.The youngest married with a beautiful wife and two sons of his own. Back in 2010 I was working, running a home, driving and socializing then bang in a split second all that was gone. I had an accident at home. I broke my back, not for the first time, I had broken it 10 years previously as well. Unfortunately this time I had broken it really badly and it was truly messed up so I had to have two operations. I was told before each operation that the outcome could mean I spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair. Still as some guy once wrote "I am still standing " yes "better than I ever was " I no longer use the walking stick . I had lots of friends before the accident but when things like this happen, you loose most of them. Their lives move on and mine stood still and so they left me behind ...I know that is just the way life is but it hurt and always will. Then I looked around and saw those who were still there for me, these friends are the roses in my garden they need to be tended well. They are the diamonds in the dust. I will of been married 53yrs this comming year. I have found different ways to approach life, use my pain befriend it almost...yer right , well that is what they tell me at the pain clinic ROFLMAO ...... if only I could! I have found an outlet for my fears, frustrations and night terrors . I have started writing poetry if that name can be applied to my writing. I hope I do not come over as a moaning winger. I hope I am past all that. I also hope that you might see how the poetry is moving from very dark through the grey and hopefully in to light. My back is no longer straight it is C shaped because of the injury and I have lost two and a half inches in height but my Pilates and Core teachers have helped me to stand up as straight and be as strong as possible. Pain and depression are still hanging on my arm but I have weapons to use against them and if I say so myself I cope well. I have made lots of new friends, real diamonds. I am also very grateful for all the support and help I have encountered here on Wordpress. Hugs and welcome to everyone who visits.
