Terza Rima Day 24 Life

This Month Kat Myrman has suggested a new theme for the daily poem—the Terza Rima, writing one stanza each day.
A terza rima consists of stanzas of three lines (or tercets) usually in iambic pentameter. It follows an interlocking rhyming scheme, or chain rhyme. This is where the middle of each stanza rhymes with the first and last line of the following stanza. There is no set length to this form, as long as it follows

I shall be joining Kat Myrman and Jane Dougherty in this challenge.

Life… A Terza Rima,

I had some black times it was never easy but we all survived

As our family out grew our home so we bought a bigger house

Sometimes I just hid inside my head until my soul revived.

I think you’ve got a typo in that last line, Willow, or else it’s just me being dense.

        Oh no, is Ruby sick?
(Sorry I’m behind reading blogs – have a flu bug which makes me just want to sleep.) Hope you’re doing all right, in spite of the weather. It continues to be hot and dry here too.

        Let know how Ruby’s doing.

I am sorry to hear you have a flu bug that can be very nasty. Do rest up and improve quickly. Poor Ruby has had three lumps removed two from her shoulder one from her neck and they also x-rayed her paw and found arthritis poor girl looks like she will not be out walking for about 10 days. Not much fun right now keeping her quiet.Due to anesthesia she is woozy. She will not be able to walk or free run for ten days which she will hate. Hubby is in mother hen mode looking after her! It is still very hot here but we have had two rain storms this evening and thunder and lightning. My foot is improving. We take Ruby back to the vets Monday so I will keep you informed.💜💜💜

Ooh, poor Ruby. I hope she heals up quickly. It’s so hard when they don’t understand why they can’t do what they want. Hopefully those 10 days will go fast. Sounds like she’s getting lots of TLC from you both. ❤️❤️
Thanks for the good thoughts. I’m just hoping to get over this before Sunday. Family is having a “remembrance” for my son on what would be his 46th b-day. It’s been 14 months since he passed and we weren’t able to get everyone together for a memorial at the time. Really need to make it to this.
Have a great weekend, Willow! ❤️💕

I do hope you can improve Betty you do need to be there with your family . I shall pray you get better in time. I find Honey, lemon ,a total of whisky and hot water are a good aid to beating flu.
As to Ruby she will get loads of TLC. 💜💜💜
