Terza Rima Day 27. Life.

This Month Kat Myrman has suggested a new theme for the daily poem—the Terza Rima, writing one stanza each day.
A terza rima consists of stanzas of three lines (or tercets) usually in iambic pentameter. It follows an interlocking rhyming scheme, or chain rhyme. This is where the middle of each stanza rhymes with the first and last line of the following stanza. There is no set length to this form, as long as it follows

It’s never easy being a mother or a wife

It pushes you and stresses you to your limit

Being a mother is not easy but it brings joy and meaning to your life.

Well it’s not Wednesday and it’s not one line but here goes anyway.

Having asked hubby to buy some creme fresh and double cream I went to the fridge to check the dates. Then I spotted some steak. “Oh! I said, you have bought some steak” ” you told me to” he replied. I gave this some thought and replied, “can you get cream and creme fresh, and make sure they have *decent dates” Hubby laughed I thought you said get some decent steak”. ???

Well the dates on the cream and creme fresh are good, and they steak looks good too.

We are both fluent but in different languages…….

* decent dates : shelf life on the the goods.
