It is  so  beautiful  and  I  have chosen  to  write a  poem  this  week. I have  added a  few  photos  to illustrate  my  poem I hope  this is  allowable Sue?  Rules and Pingback  Here

couch

Mottled   green and grey shadow

Lush grass  and  flowers in summer  grow

The  spirit  of  the  wood sleeps  in  summer breezes

Sunshine and  growth  her  mind  eases.

In the  Autumn the  spirit has a  blanket  of  gold

Chills  lick  her  heels as again she  feels old

Bonfires  and  animals  setting  up  store

The  spirit  knows  there is  more  to  endure.

Underneath  a pure  white  blanket  of  snow

The  short  days  and  Winter’s   holy  glow

The  Christmas  spirit  comes  to visit  her

They  sip  a  toast on her  bed , their  love  they  aver.

The  new  year  is  born of  their  union eternal

Spring  brings  tiny  flowers  and  blossom

She  feels  young  and  new all her powers  thrive

All  around  her  flora  and  fauna  glad  to  be  alive.

In full bloom of  life  Summer returns

Her  magic  throbs , grows  and  burns.

So  all is  repeated, the circle of  life

Her  bed   her  resting  place  always present.

Mottled   green and grey shadow

Lush grass  and  flowers in summer  grow

The  spirit  of  the  wood sleeps  in  summer breezes

Sunshine and  growth  her  mind  eases.
