This week Ronovanwrites has given us the prompts Flow and Tear for our Haiku Challenge .
Heart
Tear my chest open
Put my lost heart on my sleeve
Blood flows I’m broken
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Joy
A tear begins the
The flow of new emotions
Joy for you and me
Global Warming
Harmful rays flow through
A large tear in the ozone
Nothing we can do?
Wow! The first one, “Heart,” is stunningly powerful in image and word. Actually it’s a bit shocking with the subject of a young girl, but children can be broken also.
Yes even now as a grandma I can remember being broken hearted as a child , but I only used the image to magnify the words it is not necessarily about a child. xx
