The Just Jot It January 24th  prompt, brought to you by Evelyn of Eclectic Evelyn, is: “Elusive.” Use it any way you’re inspired to. And make sure you stop by and say hi to Evelyn as well! Here’s her blog: http://www.eclecticevelyn.com/

Elusive : Haiku

To strive  and to dream

Every minute spent in chase

Of you goal, your keen

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ELUSIVE : ACROSTIC
Endlessly  chasing  those dreams
Longinly striving  it  seems
Unashamedly  fighting  your own quest
Steadily  gaining  ground  achieving  your  best
Instinctively  climbing  that  hill
Vieing   for  pole position imposing  your will
Even  now,  you know  the  elusive will be  yours .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Elusive  Happiness : Poem

Happiness is  an elusive  thing

As rare  gossamer thread on angel wings.

Reach out  for  happiness  and  back it  springs.

Nay! It’s  not  for  you, you  human things!
