Song Lyric Sunday: Underground, Imogen Heap

Song Lyric Sunday: Rules  and  pingback  here!

wp-1463948917326.jpg

I love  Imogen Heap, you may  of  already noticed  that. Her  words  really  impact on  my  life.  When I  was  recovering  from  my  accident  she  kept  me  going  and  helped  me  to walk again. I would  say  to myself I  shall walk  for  one more  song, maybe  one  more  and  so on!

She  has  made  songs  that I  associate  with  joy  and  sadness. This  song  is a  sad  song  and if  you  change  the  word man for woman that  could  be me  now, not  all  the  time  but right now it is  relevant  to me.

UNDERGROUND BY IMOGEN HEAP

I am a cold and bitter man
I never thought it would be like me
it’s left me so alone in life
you’ve made me so alone
you only had a few days to save me
ah

there’s hope in love
deep in the underground
there may be an angel
deep in the underground

an absent space next to me lies
up in here since it was worn
I told you it’d be like this
I’ve felt this way before
a fickle heart’s a dangerous place
oh

there’s hope in love
deep in the underground
there may be an angel
deep in the underground

get back in here
(back here)
get back in here
(back here)
get back in here
(back here)
get back in here
(back here)

there’s hope in love
deep in the underground
there may be an angel
deep in the underground

there may be an angel
deep in the underground
there may be an angel
deep in the underground

Acrostic Poem: Sunday.

Sunny Sunday

Sleep deserted me  earlier  than usual not being  a  stayer  of late

Ukind as  sleep is at  the moment I decided  to  start  the day

Now  I was happy  to see  the  sun was shining , lifting  my spirits, great!

Dancing  flowers relieved not  to be wet happily  in the  warmth did sway.

At last  my  spirits   begin to  soar, ignoring  tomorrow  will be Monday once more!

Yesterday so  dull and  dreary but today  warmth  and  sun left  me less weary.
