Wicker

Witches three, they  called us little did they know

Insinuations made against us , lead us to be burned, slow.

Children we delivered , denounced an turned away

Kindling they all gathered to help  build the fire that day.

Each and everyone  who was witness we had healed through out  their lives.

Renounced  and  and  sold us out.

Women

We stand  here as reminders to what you have all done

OH! yes you are responsible for the future  that’s  to come

Mend your ways, but  the harm is done your reign is  almost run.

Endlessly you have  misused  Nature’s gifts

Now we join our hands in prayer  for you it’s more than you deserve.

Awaiting the muse

Nlightly writing pressure on

Anything and everything is fair game

Niggling muses ask poem, prose or song

Open up your mind and find a gem.

 

Picking through the pieces

Of your tattered soul

B lending  words and music species

Longing   for  the spark to make  your post  whole.

Almost  there, just within in your reach

Now do not loose this magic held out for you to catch

Open up your eyes and write a verse without match!

Vikings ships sailed the seas

Invading  unsuspecting  countries

Killing plundering and looting

In strange clothes with helmets too

Nordic warriors through and through

Gaining land and treasure on the way the

Strong and adventurous VIKINGS

Visiting Viking ships ventured to our shores

In strange garb they dressed their hordes

King Canute on his  throne

Instructed the sea  to stop and

Not to wet his feet as he sat on his seat.

Great were their travels in their long

Ships tall and made of wood, used for their vanquishing  trips.
