Hi Guys and Gals I have been away but I am hopefully back! Sorry to say I have probably missed a great deal of wonderful posts and lots of great music! … Unfortunately I updated wordpress/ Jetpack when prompted to… Stupid me! I am now having lots of problems visiting some sights but as ever I am finding work rounds! That means not only am I playing catch up it is taking me a lot longer to do so! (Thank you wordpress/jetpack you love making life difficult!)

Anyway that said here we go with Jim’s prompt for Song Lyric Sunday this week! Subvocalization! Jim Adams our host describes this in depth pop over to his site and have a read up. Personally I refer to this as earwormitus! I have an acute case of this and suffer if that is the right word with it continuously! I love music and Lyrics are my life!

I remember when our middle son was at Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. This was back in the days when our middle lad was set on a career in music… Before he and his wife had settled down and his elderly brother gave him the talk about ” it’s all very well producing music but if you have a wife and kids you need stable too! ” and he moved into IT.I think that’s what big brothers are for… giving shoves in the right direction!

As I was saying while he was at the ACM he learnt about layering and repetitive sounds… Kylie Ann Minogue’s , Can’t get you out of my head, was used as the perfect example of a pop song.. it is a classic earworm it has everything you need in it for it to be unforgettable. Now I know Jim our host is doing that one so I shall say no more.

Here is one of the best examples of layering set out for you to see. I have used it often but to me it’s perfect. First video with the Mi. Mu gloves she has developed .

The second video is the original 20 year of version before she invented the gloves!
