Writespiration #128,52 Weeks in 52 Words, Week 33.

This week our task master Sacha Black has challenged us to write a story in 52 Words no more no less, using the prompt The Persistent Dog.

I have gone for the literal  here as  our Ruby is a lovable persistent dog. At the moment she is sporting blue boots when go out and a soft cone of shame for when we cannot watch her due to poorly Paw.

This is part  of 52weeks 52 Words Rules and Pingback here.

This week the Boss lady Sacha Black has given us the Prompt : A  streaky sky.  Rules and Pingback here.

Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

So 52 Words it will but as an Acrostic Tale

After a wild night
Sunrise came clear and bright

The sky was streaky

Relief filled my heart completely

Early morning walks with the dog

Always cleares my heard of fog.

Keeping my spirits high

Yearning for freedom I walk

Solitude my escape from talk

Kindly the dog looks at me

Yes freedom.

Writespiration #126 52 Weeks in 52 Words Week 31

This week our boss lady Sacha Black has given us a really tough prompt for our 52 Words in 52 Weeks #writespiration.

This week’s prompt is:  The school trip that went wrong.

Rules and Pingback Here

I hated school, the nuns, my peers. Why, because I was bullied. I did make  a life long friendship there though and had one other nice friend but most of the time it was hell… So I have blanked most of my school memories so this will be a work of fiction!

              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No one expects half a school to return from a trip looking quite so frazzled. They were all completely subdued. They all filed off of the coach silent and dishevelled.
The teachers were in the same state. Not a word was said about the trip,ever! However much friends and family enquired.
Writespiration #125 52 Weeks in 52 Words, Week 30.
Our overworked Sacha Black said “Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less. #Writespiration
The Prompt this week is Pie.
Every time she cooked a pie he said “what’s this, shit pie?” She was sick of it, sick of him!
So this week she prepared dinner carefully. Mash, cabbage, peas then she put the pie on the table He opened his mouth and froze, the words emblazoned  on the pastry “SHIT PIE.”
Here is something that truly happened when I was working on the customer service desk of a well known British Supermarket.
“Good afternoon noon Sir,how can I help you.”
Well I bought these flowers six days ago. They are guaranteed to smell for a fortnight. Yet they do not smell anymore.”
“Oh! I am sorry Sir. Please remove from them from my face let me just refund and replace them for you now.”
Our Sacha Black is back from her holiday in Lanzarote. Her prompt this week, not surprisingly is The Holiday.
Rules and Pingback Here
Luggage lost in transit, hotel bookings still in the either, we’re already bickering, heats unbearable. Who’s fucking idea was this? I want to go home! No I don’t want sex on the beach,what it’s a drink, it’s happy hour? No one told me. Maybe one then, go on! This bars not bad.
Glad that you are back Sacha! Hope you faired better than my couple!
This week Sacha Black‘s prompt for 52 Weeks in 52 Words is “The Secret you just found out”
Rules and Pingback Here
In disbelief she rifled through the family papers there was no mention of her not a Birth or a Wedding certificate. Panic engulfing her from the pit of her stomach to her mouth. Then finally she found it, a Death certificate. Why had no one mentioned the fact that she was dead.
