Sword of Runes Chapter 15

The blows cut into the Evil Knight of Doom  but he would not die

His body kept  re hackling, bloodied and in agony his body just would not lie.

Andrew could not believe what was happening, in desparation he took a blow at the knights head

The black helmet flew off revealing an ugly skull. Andrew swung again  against this sphectre  of dread.

He manages to find his mark  and splits the Evil Knight of Doom head in two!!

A silence falls, a deadly hush  upon the demon hoards as their master falls in their view!

The stars of light from Leona’s ring encircle  and burn the rent skull.

Of a sudden the Evil Knight of Doom  grew still and the demons eyes all began to dull.

 

Leona fell back into Susan’s  arms, the excertion  of killing the Knight causing her to faint.

Her ring still shone  bright and it lit  the skies as the long night began to abait.

The sun rose and the skies became blue again, so bright after such a long black night .

Seven long  days and seven long nights had past since first  began this fight!.

The child’s affections  were taken by the Witch of the East

She was feeding his ego and dark  side, encouraging his beast.

What ever he wanted his tiniest whim

She indulged and pampered making sure  she spoiled him.

 

This was her baby, we know  this is true

But to take spite on Mae was, above  all things,  what she wanted to do.

Already  he was demanding and pouting  if denied

The witch  fed his tempers and cuddled him when he cried .

 

He was no longer asking for his beloved sister Mae

The witch had made  certain all thoughts of his life before were blown way.

All of his days  in her palace  spent having his own way

His  mother by birth she may be, yet it is evil that drives her as she keeps the child in sway.

Meanwhile  the Winter Queen has found  water and feed  for the horses

Ewen and his men are still as strong in their support of  Mae, yet so uncertain  of what their course is.

Three weeks now  they have been struggling  through the blinding snow

This is Mae’s homeland  but she is lost , there is not a landmark or a person , this land she does not know.

 

Mae  feels the pain in her heart for her stolen brother ,

Polar Bear suffers the pain of an unrequited lover .

Ewen and his men feel the cold , lost in this wasteland their hope begins to die and wither.

Mae begins to wonder if they will ever reach their goal, why did she accept  the Witch of the East’s summons hither.

Everyday you pass my door

Everyday the same as the one before.

You never, ever look my way

Never catch the words I say.

So as I cannot make you look my way

My patience is spent so here is what I have to say!

May I soon be the apple of your eyes.

By all the bubbles in the sea

May you desert all others and have eyes alone for me!

By the every note the song Thrush  sings

May I be  the one who gives your emotions wings.

By everything that is good,beautiful and true

May you finally realize that I am the one for you!

There is nothing at all that you can do.

We shall always be together as happy lovers should be

Together, just us for eternity!
