Back in the day, when I was a teen
Pyscodelia was the scene
Mini dresses in patterns bold
In black and white not green or gold.
It made no difference if skies were grey
Black and white coloured my day.
Not for me those paisley prints
Nor huge glasses with outrageous tints.
No I was a Twiggy girl
Black white my patterns swirl.
So before my memories fade to grey
I’ll witter on about back in the day.
