Autumn leaves will fall
As the weather starts to chill
Lots of Nervous fowl.
As the nights draw in
Turkey Tom fears for his skin
Can he weather it.

OKAY! Now Linda is away in Japan and she has left this endearing renegade in charge his name is
Now this Pavowski said: That prompt is “stuff.” Simple, right? Ehh, maybe, maybe not. You could go direct: literal, basic. Stuff as a thing is pretty ubiquitous. Or you could go all metaphorical, even symbolic. You might even, if you’re feeling saucy, use “stuff” as a root and wander into the wild realms of the participle (stuffed) or the progressive (stuffing) or even the gerund (also stuffing, sorry for the English Teacher wheelies). One request: whether you feel saucy or not, please don’t actually mention sauce. Or do, but be prepared that I might hork all over your blog if you do.
Okay well I am going to stay on the subject of turkeys but my turkey is for Christmas and so has a little longer to stuff it’s face and range free!
Now I have had the mother of all stresses ordering my said bird! It has been the stuff of nightmares. I have in fact made four or is it five calls to sort out my festive order. The entire thing has left me feeling much less than festive and ready to stuff the turkey up the the supplier in question’s rear end!
All that stuff aside as I said I have finally got my bird ordered and I have my conformation email to prove it!
The next big question will be what shall I stuff it with? sage and onion, sausage meat, apricot and apple, mushroom, bacon, mushroom and herb, bread and celery or last but not least sausage , apple and cranberry. Yes so much stuff to put into stuffing!
So if Christmas is the stuff of dreams, and we are the stuff of life I am totally stuffed because I am exhausted already and I have only just made it past the first hurdle!….. What other nasty stuff is hiding out there to ambush me…. bad tempered elves on the rampage, drunk abusive Father Christmases who have stuffed themselves full of mince pies and sherry, Tree fairies who refuse to take their place atop the tree ( mind you who would in all honesty enjoy half a fir tree up their bum? ) .
So before I get stuffed, or get stuffing I am going to put my feet up and re-read my so hard fought for confirmation email and all the other stuff can go get stuffed for now!
