For the month of September I am going to choose a piece of music or song and write a poem or alternative version. Jane Dougherty is doing a September Stanza here. And Kat Myrman is doing September a poem a day Here.
Today’s piece of Music is The Whole of the Moon. By The Waterboys.
My interpretation
You have have eyes that see
Life in all its glory
In the shadow the view eludes me
I have only half the story
Grabbing life you take it and it grows
I am wading through the mire
You float where the river flows
Like you I was once on fire
Life a thing to be won
Keep as you are my son .
