Team GB rounded off the Paralympics in Tokyo with two more bronzes to secure second place in the medal table behind China
The men’s wheelchair basketball team beat Spain 68-58 to finish third for the second successive Games, while there was also a bronze for Krysten Coombs in the men’s SH6 badminton singles.
That saw Britain close the final day with 41 golds, 38 silvers and 45 bronzes, with their 124-medal total 20 better than the United States and surpassed only by China (207).
They won medals in 18 of 19 sports, more than any other nation competing.
Great Britain won three more gold medals as they passed the 100-medal mark on day 10 of the Tokyo Paralympics.
The golds went to canoeist Emma Wiggs and athletes Jonathan Broom-Edwards and Owen Miller. 🥇🥇🥇
However, Richard Whitehead had to settle for silver in his bid to win a third 200m title in row, losing out to South African 19-year-old Ntando Mahlangu in the T61 category. 🥈
Beth Munro made history with Britain’s first taekwondo medal at the Paralympics with silver in the -58kg event. 🥈
There was also silver for wheelchair tennis pair Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett in the men’s doubles 🥈

In a phenomenal final day of track cycling, Great Britain made it a full house, winning gold medals and setting world record times in all three event finals.
