A Decima
As sure as night follows the day.
Man is never infallible
Nature made sure he’s gullible
Humans will always go astray
There’ll be foibles and flaws at play
The Demons in hades all smile
As men make mistakes all the while.
The devil tallying his toll
Delighting in his crop of soul.
He’ll have them all, soon to defile.
For today’s Décima Ronovanwrite’s has asked us to rhyme the C lines with SMILE. I have also linked this week’s Haiku Challenge words DAY AND FLAW, to the décima.

This week Helen Vahdati of This Life One Word at a Time has the help of Jim Adams for our prompt. This week’s Song Lyric Sunday prompt from Jim Adams is Smile.
#songlyricsunday
I have picked this fabulous song, Loaded Smile from Adam Lambert. The lyrics are I the video I really love the words to me the honesty in this song is so close to real life to be shocking.
Then just for good measure a fabulous Take That song that needs no introduction.. Shine. The song may be called Shine but the words scream smile at me and it makes me smile.
Shine”
All your anticipation pulls you down
When you can have it all, you can have it all.
So, come on, so, come on, get it on
I don’t know what you’re waiting for
Your time is coming don’t be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
Stop being so hard on yourself
It’s not good for your health
I know that you can change
So clear your head and come ’round
You only have to open your eyes
You might just get a big surprise
And it may feel good
And you might want to smile, smile, smile.
Don’t you let your demons pull you down
‘Cause you can have it all, you can have it all.
So, come on, oh, come on, get it on
Don’t know what you’re waiting for
Your time is coming don’t be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
Hey let me know you
You’re all that matters to me
Hey let me show you
You’re all that matters to me.
So, come on, get it on
Don’t know what you’re waiting for
Your time is coming don’t be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
Hey! Let me know you
You’re all that matters to me
Hey! Let me show you
You’re all that matters to me
Hey! Let me love you
You’re all that matters to me
(Oh come on)
Hey! So come on yeah
(See the light on your face)
(Let it shine, just let it shine)
Shine all your light over me
(Shine!)

What made her smile what made her day . What did she see where there was only waste and dismay. This Queen of refugees what took her mind and made her pleased.
A friend, a lover that she had thought she’d lost? A child even, wars demand such a high cost. Something in this veil of tears relieved her pain and soothed her fears .
From the depths of deep despair she found something, someone for whom she cared. A sudden joy crossed her face and a smile exploded spreading a fall out of pure grace . What did she see what was her gift from God that lightened up this wasteland where starving refugees trod.
That is something we shall never know and I thank God that she had that moments glow. Such regal beauty in her face , may she fair well in God’s good grace.

What is this, where is it from. No one recognizes it, it must of been there for aeons! Where did I find it where had it been, nobody had seen it until it materialize by the drying machine!

It isn’t yours and it is mine the boys have all been gone for a long time nor have I seen it on the washing line. Could it be a foreigner, could it be a plant could it possibly belong to your mum or your aunt?
It was not dusty, was is it within a forcefield, is it an alien do we all need to keep our eyes peeled! I have inspected it thoroughly inside and out I was going to dis-guard it but in my mind there is some doubt.
I always thought they got eaten by the washing machine, this one is on it’s own yes, but it is dry and it is clean.
I suppose it must of escaped, it must of survived I wonder where it’s partner is and more importantly is it still alive. I shall have to check the dryer in case the other one eventually arrives!
