Explosion Reaction
Explosion! what did he say.
No way, this is not right
He cannot say that today.
Close my eyes it’ll be all right.
Let me out I need some air
This is not happening now.
Not me, no this is not fair.
I can’t breathe,this is …. wow.
Open a window I am chocking here.
Yes a glass of water please
He’s spoken the words we all fear.
Please say it’s not true, this is just a tease.
Out in the street the traffic is loud.
Sweating profusely I shiver and shake.
I want to scream caught in this crowd.
Cancer it’s more than I can take.

Today
Life looked me
Between the eyes
Caught within car headlights
Mown down.

A cinqku must always have 5 lines and a perfect seventeen-syllable count. The lines typically follow a 2,3,4,6,2 format. There is no title requirement on the second line. As for syntax and diction styles, it follows the free Tanka style originally. There are no metric requirements for a cinqku poem. Additionally, the final line must contain a cinquain or kireji turn for emphasis.

Man:I like you car, is it new?
Woman : I have only had it a day or is it two.
Man: I love the colour is it blue?
Woman: Well they call it Azure.
Man: Do you know this road well ?
Woman :Yes I have been down it a thousand times for sure,
This road that leads right to my door.
they call in Azure blue
Man: Did you get all your presents the shops are such a crush?
Woman: I did, I even got my sister that amazing eye make up brush.
Man : And the festive food is that all in hand?
Woman: Yes and a good thing too as I am cooking this year as planned .
Man : Look who are all those people talking to the police?
Woman : OMG That is my family they’ve all come out even brought my baby niece.
They may of heard the noise of the crash
My husband does look pale why is he acting so rash.
I think I had better talk to him before he starts to cry!
Man :, hang on my friend you have to come with me………..
Woman : WHY?
Man : You have crashed the car, my dear and you are about to die.
Woman : Surely you are joking I am standing here with you,
Sorry it has been good to chat but I have so much to do.
Man : Tell me what is the last thing you remember before our chat?
Woman : Well I was concentrating very hard because of all the snow
I had to swerve to miss the cat. It all went black and then, I just don’t know.
Woman : OH! my what a commotion they are all in tears
Right outside the garden gate the neighbours have not had so much to look at for years.
Woman : Help I feel so cold and so very weak ,
Is that me inside the car, I just look asleep.
Man : Come my friend I am with you.I shall guide you now that your earthly life is at an end.
Woman : Will they all recover will they manage without me .
Man : Don’t worry they will all cope, you can even watch and see.
Now just relax and lean your head on me,
I have seen you’ve always been kind and you always talk with me.
Woman: I really do not want to leave them are you really sure.
Man: I am my dear friend now come with me just through this open door.

Why do they sit and guard at the gates, what are the horrors that they await?
Why do they guard the portal, why do they never sleep what is it they guard why is this their fate.
Why for millenniums have they stood by their posts
Why, …… is it to save us from aliens or ungodly hosts?
What are they protecting us from, what fiendish hell are they shutting out
What is it fighting to get in and attack this world and wipe it all out!?
What is the secret they keep , what would happen if they open the portal for us to take a peek.
What is the horrible truth that they keep , are you ready to hear and face the words that I speak.
It is not us they are saving, is it not us they protect ,
NO! It is all the other dimensions and worlds across the threshold …… they will not let us infect!
It is shocking and fearful for us to be told
It is us that we are the evil from all other worlds and dimensions they must withhold!!

The gate keepers where shocked by man’s inhumanity to man
They saw what happened in the garden of Eden , they saw the how the world began.
They saw what they did to the son of God upon the cross , they saw they murdered in God’s name
They saw how man put man in chains they saw how they gassed and beat and shot for Hitlers’ fame.
They wept for child soldiers taught to fight , maim and rape
They wept for all that man did in the name of Mammon and hate.
They wept for all the men who hoarded money and food , condemning Others to starve!
They wept for those dying of disease for want of proper drugs, sadly their lives halved.
They mourned for mother Earth, now in her dying throw
They mourned for all the dreadful things that man had heaped upon her stunting how her flowers grow.
They mourned for all her forests and jungles stripped of foliage and trees
They mourned for all poisons poured into her rivers and her seas,
They mourned for all she ever was for now she was brought down to her knees

Here I am with open arms oblivious to all your charms. Here unmoving day and night I helped you learn to read and write

Here I am, the one you need, to get you through life’s challenges, I’m always up for a midnight feed!!
I am on hand for a cosy rest in front of the fire, sit with me in winter and watch the snow fall as the flames grow higher.
I am here for you in spring sit with me and sip your tea and listen as the Thrush sings!
Early morning late at night I am here for your delight!!

I keep your secrets as you grow older and see your relationships get hot or colder. As you grow and become much bolder.
I am here for you when life becomes to hard to shoulder and encourage you as you climb up another gigantic life boulder!
You may change my covers to suit the fashion to look good or cool for swings from anger into passion. Never deserting always there the answer to exhaustions prayer.

I excel at family gatherings Christmas, Easter, Birthdays and especially Weddings. Usually I get tarted up when special visitors come to sup!
Always in need when there are babies, new, good for cuddles and sometimes a lot more too! I will not say what that’s about .I shall not disclose what you get up to when no one else is about.
Such comfort can found in my arms for weary heads with physical or mental qualms. I never nag or boss you. I am always here when your day is through. I have never done a nasty thing to you.
I’ve been with you good and bad shared your grief when you’ve been sad.Seen you laugh loud and free and kept the secrets you’ve given me.
Then one day comes a bolt out of the blue I am of no longer any use, you have found some one new! I am banished shoved aside not wanted even though I’ve comforted you whenever you’ve cried! Cast aside for versions new after all I have done for you!!
