A ring of stones sleep
Serene are they in sweet dreams
Just part of the scene.
The secrets are kept
In this serene scene, all green
Gia’s blessings sleep.

This is my entry to Ronovanwrite’s weekly Haiku Poetry challenge #148 and this week Ronovan has given us the words Fast and Plain , to play with.
Fast and plain.
I am always true to you
For all, plain to see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plain and Swift
Though your face is plain
You are beautiful inside
Swift my fall for you
The Sun and the Moon
Nature’s trick, plainly
She always eluded him
How ever fast he moved.
Apple of my eye
Like a star seen from afar.
Much love to behold
~~~~~~~~~~~~
All beauty is in
The eye of the beholder
Ruby is beauty
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beauty before me
Nature’s wonders to behold
My eyes are grateful
Ronovan writes Haiku Challenge
Haiku
Facets and coloured fractals of light
Crystal clear full scope
Brings true hope not fear and flight
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thoughts sharpened by new trauma
Honed to Crystal Clear
Hope on Horizon’s afar
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Open eyes wiped crystal clear
See all being all
Hope has come too late lost fate.
I didn’t think it was too much to ask for
Always striving not to demand or be selfish.
Just to make me look less of an eyesore
To straighten my back for me, to just grant that wish.
I know they mended me and put me back together
Pinned and fused me and filled me with cement.
But am I selfish to want not to have a curved body forever
However hard I try I will not be straight again, but slightly bent.
I’ve always known I am better off than so many
Blessed in lots ways the truth be known.
But if I could have a wish granted it would not be just any
Only to wake and find my spine un-curved had grown.
Please don’t think me spoilt and churlish
I know I stand and walk and bend
But I’d like my posture to be more stylish
But I must accept that I am lucky not to be crippled my friend.
Buiness
Hurry and stress busy busy business
Keyboards tapping , post its flapping mobiles ring
Office bike beats the trouble and strife pants down
Right now on the desk.
Early train she’s on it too perfume wafting
Electric blue coat next to you soft humming
Off at station rushing now macchiato
Want to drink it now.
Phones ring lifts ding deadlines come and go deals flow
Time ticks pens click, ham cheese and mayo to go
Nearly five coming back to life out of here
Tricky business here!
How many doors, how many floors must we flee down
Must we race down, pace down arms up and face down.
What lies behind the doors, the doorknobs many
strange knobs hob knobs, key holes of which views are there any?
How dark these walls so blue, the floor so black it reaches down to hell
The light at the end of the hall so red, red enough to hide the dead as well.
Is the floor a carpet or linoleum I do not know do you
As I run and rush my way along I cannot tell I don’t even care, it’s true,it’s true.
So enter here this last door with me and let your lust be free
In my hands I caress your key I love it’s cold feel, it awakens things in me.
So take back your long and lusty key and thrust it deep inside my lock , feel free.
I shall grab and turn your knob I love the reaction it brings, it makes you sob.
So as we dance the dance of lock and key and hob of knob twist harder your key inside my lock so it may throb.
Excitement gathers us both up and busts forth all ousing out glorious and messy.
The lock the key, the knob all turning busting growing flowing pressy!
OOOOOOOOOOOOH!
How many doors, how many floors must we flee down
Must we race down, pace down arms up and face down.
What lies behind the doors, the doorknobs many
strange knobs, hob knobs, key holes of which views are there any?
NaPoWriMo Day 27 : Today’s prompt is to use the wondrous powers of the Internet to help you write, and I have a particular method in mind. Think of a common proverb or phrase — something like “All that glitters is not gold,” or “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.” Then plug the first three words of the phrase into a search engine. Skim through the first few pages of results, collecting (rather like a poetic magpie) words and phrases that interest you. Then use those words and phrases as the inspirations (and some of the source material) for a new poem.
A Cat May (Warning)
A cat may, that is what everyone says
Owning a cat may shorten your days
Insidious, unseen, malicious and quiet
Excreted escaping hoping to invade
Depressing the nerves with an unhappy parade
A cat may without any thoughts of harm
Can infest your blood and remove life’s charm.
In muscles and brain hides the nasty nasty little parasites
They will push you , and push you to take your life.
So a beautiful cat may look at a king
But everyone in the castle should be aware what he is hiding within.
Many hands make Fractals Tactile
Many Hands make Fractals Tactile.
That’s sounds so hopeful it makes you smile.
Many hands clear the deck especially in the sun
The more of us together makes us more inclined to fun.
Many hands all wearing rings with diamonds will catch the light
The more of us there are, the sooner the job gets done right.
The more hands lifted to the sky reaching far reaching high
So remember Many Hands make Fractals Tactile and your heart fly.
A mixed bag
