Lune Day 27.

At Kat Myrman‘s suggestion, along with Jane Dougherty, I’m trying out the Lune form this month. The Lune is a three line poem, either 5/3/5 syllables or 3/5/3 words.

Today I am trying a word Lune as opposed to a syllable one.

To much Politics

Populated by madmen and hicks

No one cares.

One Liner Wednesday.Politics

Like Indiana  Jones , I don’t like snakes . Though that  might lead some to ask why I’m in polics.

One Liner Wednesday : More Politics

Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber.

By Plato.

Even  more  evidence   that  nothing  in  politics  changes! The  above  is  from  the  ancient  Greek  philosopher Plato!

The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:

1. Make it one sentence.

2. Make it either funny or inspirational.

Have fun!

We  really  shouldn’t be   running  education  like  a supermarket where  we  compare  prices .

With  the  UK  Election tomorrow  the  above  is  proof  that  nothing  changes!

He stands in the shadows

He’s standing there in the  shadows and he is watching me and you

Waiting to see if we if we are doing as we should do.Do we even know what to do.

He is crying in the shadows hiding

He sees that we are, deaf to his tidings.

He sees brother killing brother

Lost sisters grieving for lovers

Children dying reaching out for their mothers.

Why is he watching  why does he not speak.

Is he letting them suffer, suffer in vein setting the strong to kill the weak.

He sees the huge eagle on one side He picks up the dice and hurls them, he weeps as they collide.

His children are fighting, have they ever stopped .

They’re squabbling  and and arguing about the bombs they have dropped.

They lie about who did it and who did not …………

For the innocents caught in the crossfire they care not a jot.

He’s standing there in the  shadows and he is watching me and you

Waiting to see if we if we are doing as we should, do we even know what to do.
