Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “start with who/whom” Begin your post with either “who” or “whom” and go from there. Have fun!
Who do I think of when I think back to my pre-teen days when all my brothers and sisters where all alive and at home. Who was who back then, Teresa Mary, Mary Anne, Frances Jane, Anthony Conrad, John Patrick and me , there had been three more but I never knew them and of course there was Mum and Dad.
Music played a huge part in my young life, in all our lives but I was the youngest and the one who soaked up the magic.
Mum loved the big musicals of the time, Carousel , Paint your Wagons, South Pacific. Now Dad he loved the classics, Maria Calis was exactly who my Dad really liked .. I learned to a appreciate Mum and Dad’s music at a young age.
Teresa loved Pat Boone, Frances loved Elvis and Cliff, Mary…well I can’t remember who Mary really liked back then but in later years she was into big shows and jazz. My brother Tony was heavily in to Johnny Mathis for whom I have a great liking still. Then there was John Patrick who was absolutely besotted with Buddy Holly and Adam Faith both of whom I also like.
So how can I finish this post? Well I am going to say that there is one of the afore mentioned artists of whom I am very much enamoured and that is Adam Faith! My favourite song of his is …wait for it…WHO AM I and here it is .💜

It was late and the children had been playing up all afternoon. The whole home schooling thing was beginning to take its toll. Not only was Gav working in the dinning room, 8am to 5pm. Tamsine had to work in the kitchen plus cook, clean, teach, referee and generally cope with lockdown!
It was four thirty and dark already so taking a deep breath she said, “okay close the laptops down and shut your books . Upstairs in the bath and get your PJ’s on! ” As the children charged up the stairs towards the bathroom, Gav shouted from the dinning room, “quiet I am about to go on a call! “
Five minutes after the herd of elephants got up the stairs Tasmine heard a wail! “Mum there’s no hot water! ” Taking a deep breath Tasmine called up, ” hold on I will be up in a second”
Just then the phone rang, it was the school! ” “Hi Mrs Carson it’s Carole from Osborne School I wonder could I ask a favour.” Tasmine, smiled and said “ask away”. From up stairs she could hear the children running around.
It turned out the school was asking around to find any older laptops or tablets for the children who did not have these things at home. As it turned out she and Gav had both upgraded for work, they had given the children their old ones. So it turned out they had did have two laptops and an older tablet in the cupboard. She be happy to donate those if that would help.
As she rushed up the stairs to find the three children milling round the bathroom with their older sister trying to get the tap to work. “There’s no water Mum”….
Tasmine cursed under her breath….the perfect end to the perfect day! Not. “Who was on the phone” asked Karly . Tamsine smiled ,”school, they need any older laptops or tablets for the children who’s parents have not got any. “
“Kool” Kally thought. …. In desparation , just as she thought she’d have ask Gav for help a gurgle started rumbling in the attic… Down the pipes and into the bath. Lovely hot water ! Yes !! Tasmine thought there is a God, this is Karma.

Why is Linda hosting this post.
She said.”Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.
Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day Seven since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.Immie in her Frou Frou days
Okay let’s skip the morning if anything is going to drive me mad it will be the mornings so monotonous. We took Ruby out for her walk.
Home I prepared some veg for the evening meal, then checked on my sisters and the lads. Chatted to friends via social media then took Ruby out again. A quiet day. I hope to sleep well tonight.

I was half watching the news just now, they were talking about people trying to get home from holidays abroad. A young couple , she a Dr and he a trauma surgeon, were saying they were desperate to get home to help. I asked hubby why can’t they volunteer to help out in Australia… Hubby, sighed and replied because they are in South Africa .. .. God help me …is there any hope for me 🙄😖😜💜💜
Bit long for a one liner but it might make you smile.

As ever the day started the same, early, cramp, sickness…let Ruby out, feed her! Feed hubby, we took our walk with Ruby. Yes if I am going to lose track of the days it will be the mornings.
Today I took some photos of the old tree trunks that the gardener’s at the wood have carved! A butterfly, a squirrel and a very aggrieved looking rabbit.
See what I mean about the rabbit ?W we got home I cleaned the downstairs toilet and the bathroom. Then I did the the rest of the house. I rang two friends who are on their own. They are both fine and sound cheerful so that’s good. Rang one sister spoke to other via wordpress so they are both good.
By eleven o’clock the sickness had passed so I had some breakfast. I did the washing and hung it out. Hubby decided to brave the shops, got most of my list but no flour which is a shame as I wanted to bake but hay ho small worries in this situation. Fed Hubby ,we had quiet afternoon but busy . I am going to cook a feta cheese and spinach cannelloni which was lurking in the depths of the freezer, which is good as it made room for the shepherds pies we cooked Tuesday. We are doing well with cooking because we like to cook from fresh. I have put up a photo of the cannelloni defrosted before cooking. We spoke to all the boys again this afternoon and our youngest and his two boys videoed us again it was lovely to see them all.
and here it is cooked and the salad.
It was tasty, anyway all eaten and cleared away now. Just having a glass of wine before it’s time to go to the door and clap for the NHS.
Be safe all of you

Running in circles nowhere to hide.
