ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAY

It’s a beautiful day, I was awake with the Lark looking out over the valley even though it was still dark.
I saw the fog rolling in knowing that the rain was not far behind but to look at such beautiful scenery was enough for my mind
We set off in the car, the clouds following darkening the skies. We made for the lake Trasimeno.
image The sun had tried to shine but it was not meant to be so. The sky was clouded over as climbing steps up to the castle we did go.

We found it was market day and I spent some money I have to say! We had a picnic back down by the lake unusually, for me there was nothing I forgot to take ;-).
So then we headed for Cortona another fortified castle town it was a long way to the top of the town but there were fantastic views when got there and looked down.

Finally back we did wend our way and we both agree it had been a beautiful day.

A Gekko in our room

There is a Gekko in our room I saw it move past me zoom! I was going to have a shower but there is a Gekko in our room and he’s been there for at least an hour.
We left him some chocolate on floor and opened wide the door but whether or not he has left we really are not sure.
Now there is a spider in the shower and to move it I have not got the  power. I really need to wash and change but there is a Gekko in our room and spider in the shower and that all makes me feel strange.

The time is getting on so I must be brave and remove the spider from the shower. I’ll close my eyes and hopefully God will give me the power to remove it and deposit it outside with the flowers.
But still there is a Gekko in our room and he has no plans to leave anytime soon.

Foreign Wind

I can feel this foreign wind blowing around me in this foreign land. The sun has gone away and this wind and rain was not what we had planned.

image

The sky is grey and heavy and the trees all dance and sway in this foreign wind that speaks to me but I can’t understand what it has to say.

image

I look to the left and then to the right the view is absolutely stunning such a shame it is only shown to me in this half light.
What is it hiding this wind is very cunning.

I am amazed at the majesty this wind does command it moves the clouds, the trees and grass like a gentle hand.
Last night it sang a lullaby as I drifted off to sleep and today has been an opera racing through towns and villages, castles and keep.
Maybe tomorrow the sun will return and visit us and bring the warmth for which I yern. But for now I am happy to listen to this magic sound of the foreign wind as this foreign land it moves around.
