Heart broken am I

Trapped at the window not free

I wish I could fly.

My heart upon my sleeve

As I travel through this life I bare the scars and bruises dealt to me by trouble and strife. I wear my heart upon my sleeve it shows the the echoes of all the things for which I bleed. One step forward one step more  just keep on moving steel yourself for what is in store.See me naked nothing to hide. Open to all I no longer fear what is inside, I am open take it all you can no longer hurt me even if you take me too the wall. I grow stronger by the day my insecurities are now pushed away.Yes that is my heart and I wear it with pride and now I have a new outfit ,SELF WORTH  for me to wear I no longer will myself hide. I have found the light that will lead me safe to where all is bright!

Three Things Challenge #145

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge over at Di’s blog pensitivity101. She said
“Everyday I’ll give you three words or things that will hopefully trigger your creativity.
No need to use them all if you don’t want to, simply read the prompt and see what comes to mind.
You can use the 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and the new logo if you wish.
There are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.

Today’s words are HEART POISON CARE.

Take care said trees

As they danced in the breeze.

Don’t bite the apple shiny and red

Filled with poison to mess up your head

Just one bite you’ll give up the fight

So take heart and have the Turkish delight!

Song Lyric Sunday

This is my entry to Helen Vahdati’s from This Life One Word At A Time Song Lyric Sunday.

This week’s prompt is heart.

Alanis Morissette has always fascinated me. At one time I truly thought she was singing my life! This particular song Underneath has special resonance with me. It may not have heart in the title but it all about heart. Basically, as I see it, and this is only how I personally see it, we tend to mess up our lives because we are too busy trying to fix the world we neglect our own lives. The lines

When we’ve the ultimate key to the cause right here, our und

erneath’

I read that as we need to fix the heart of the matter, ourselves, before we can attempt to sort what we think is wrong with the world. I think we are all a little guilty of this. I see ‘Our Underneath’ as our hearts. Also the whole video is set within s heart… It speaks volumes to me.

“Underneath”

Look at us break our bonds in this kitchen
Look at us rallying all our defenses
Look at us waging war in our bedroom
Look at us jumping ship in our dialogues

There is no difference in what we’re doing in here
That doesn’t show up as bigger symptoms out there
So why spend all our time in dressing our bandages
When we’ve the ultimate key to the cause right here, our underneath

Look at us our form our cliques in our sandbox
Look at us micro kids with both our hearts blocked
Look at us turn away from all the rough spots
Look at dictatorship on my own block

There is no difference in what we’re doing in here
That doesn’t show up as bigger symptoms out there
So why spend all our time in dressing our bandages
When we’ve the ultimate key to the cause right here, our underneath

How I’ve spun my wheels with carts before my horse
When shine on the outside springs from the root
Spotlight on these seeds of simpler reasons
This core, born into form, starts in our living room

There is no difference in what we’re doing in here
That doesn’t show up as bigger symptoms out there
So why spend all our time in dressing our bandages
When we’ve the ultimate key to the cause right here, our underneath
