Happy Christmas to you all.

Happy Christmas

Well it’s Christmas Eve. And where has today gone. I was up at 5am, I couldn’t sleep as I had a hospital appointment and I did not want to miss it! I walked the dog had a cup of coffee and then we set off for the hospital.

When we got there we had been sat waiting room for a few minutes, when in burst Father Christmas! What really took my eye though was this lovely Nativity set all knitted lovingly.

Isn’t it lovely. I just fell in love with it.

Hubby has been very busy today he has made three cheese cakes, wicked chocolate and vanilla.

The grandchildren are so excited I have just heard from our youngest son that they are tucked up in bed . Apparently they were bouncing off the wall or even ceiling.

The tree is ready and full of memories the presents are wrapped and waiting to be delivered.

My Christmas nails are all sparkly and ready to celebrate. The table is ready to set and have food upon.

Now I have to go and prepare the vegetables for tomorrow. There will be, brussel sprouts, coliflour cheese, roast potatoes, parsnips, sweet potatoes, onions, and carrots.

Our lads will be here with us and on boxing Day our we will all go and join our youngest son and his lovely family.

I am exhausted and I am off to bed. I want to wish everyone, every single one of you a very happy Christmas and a healthy New Year. Thank you for all your support I live you all .

May Santa bring you everything you desire

Happy Christmas Everyone

Happy  Christmas  everyone. Have  a  wonderful  day. I know  this post  is  a little  sentimental  but  hey ! why not.

Love  to  you  all.

Black, Black  the  sky  cold the  winds  blow

Across  the  sand  by  the  light  of  the  stars progress was  slow.

She  was  slight  but with  child. Tired  and  near  her  time.

They  had  had  to travel  then,   the  census to  sign.

They arrive late after many  days  travel and  there  was no place  to stay.

She was  too tired  to  chide  her  man for his  incompetence

Her time  was near,  she  urged him  to  find  a place  she could lay.

He found  a  stable bare and  full of   the  animal’s  stench.

He  did his  best  to  make  her  comfortable  as  she  began  her  labor

She  was  so young  and  a virgin  she  knew  not  what  was happening

Finally  a  child  was  born  as  promised a  boy to  the  world a savior.

From outside  came  a gentle  light  and  the  sound of  singing.

People  came from far  and  wide, rich  and  poor bringing  gifts

No one  knew  why  they  came  but  come  they  did

All  saw  the  beauty  of  the  family and  felt  their  sorrow lift.
