Five Photos Five Stories:Nonet : Dead all Dead

Will you  weep  for  me  when I  am gone

Notice  I  am lost  from  the  throng.

Stretched on my  grave unseen

I cannot  touch you now

Only in your dreams.

Lost  to sun, I

A creature

Of the

Night.

Five Photos Five Stories: Nonet : Grave Storms

Gentle lapping  of  the ceasless waves

Calling out  to those in the graves.

Weather  beaten, sun bleached stones

Covering  long  cold bones.

Mourners  walk in single

File. Cold winds bite.

Gulls cry,  here

Comes the

Storm.

Five Photos Five Stories: Time and Tide:Nonet

IMG_20140715_070537698Chilly  mornings, warm  light  evenings

Sunrise, sunset all things  done.

Ripples of  joy, tides of grieving .

Time gathers  momentum

Dead leaves  rise  and  fall

Hear  the silent

Cries  from

Those gone

Before

Five Photos Five Stories: Ivy : Nonet

wpid-img_20150610_085921536_hdr.jpgCaressing  and  suckling  close, tendrils

Draping  over  stone like spirals.

Green like Mother  Earth she   clings

Eternal winter sings.

Slowly choking out

All life. No doubt

She is keen

Leaves green

Ivy.

Five Photos Five Stories: Cat on a Grave.

Shadows dancing on the footpath

Colours of  the  days aftermath

Hushed whispers of days gone by

Secrets held with  a sigh.

Hush don’t wake  the dead

Words left unsaid

The cat creeps

Her smell seeps

In to

Earth.
