Scary October 1 1

Here we are at the unholy month of October. I thought I would do a paranormal, witchy, unholy bunch of poems, some new and some old.

Don’t forget to check out Jane Dougherty and Kat Myrman‘s plans for this month!

Today’s poem is Nonet

Fallen Angels

Hard they had fallen heavy from on high

Blooded and bruised tossed from

heaven

Afraid they cling ridged in fear

Silenced, all voices gone

Eyes wide wet with tears

Banished thrown out

There’s no doubt

Broken

Wings

Thursday photo prompt: Fallen #writephoto

This is my entry for Sue Vincent of The Daily Echo‘s Thursday Photo Prompt Challenge.

Fallen

Fallen from another world

These two angels never their wings unfurled.

Fell to earth too fast to recover

Lay now, asleep next to each other.

I hope that they have their wish

And their blessed former life they will not miss.

In this green haven they lay side by side

Their forbidden love they could not hide.

They are fated to remain here forever

Two as one, to be separated never.

Rules and Pingback Here

Blood on the floor.

Darkness fell, pitch black wrapped our eyes and ears in black satin.

We crawled on hands and knees blindly inching forward.

Our cries bounced back at us off the wall, they seared our skin.

Lost, hopelessly lost without a clue our outlook flawed!

Cold gnawed at our fingers  and nipped at our faces

We were clawing  at the floor  looking  for a door

The smell was painful  mess everywhere we’d all forgot our social graces.

It is was demeaning , everyone screaming  a fight breaking out. Blood on the floor.

JusJoJan : Fallen Angels ( a nonet)

Blooded and bruised tossed out  the sky

Silence, deafening all voices gone

Eyes wide wet of tear

Banished thrown ou Hard they had fallen heavy from on high

Blooded and bruised tossed out  the sky

Silence, deafening all voices gone

Eyes wide wet of tear

Banished thrown out from

Lusts just desert

Broken hurt

Lost.

Post on your site, and join Just Jot it January. The rules are easy!

1. It’s never too late to join in, since the “Jot it” part of JusJoJan means that anything you jot down, anywhere (it doesn’t have to be a post) counts as a “Jot.” If it makes it to WordPress that day, great! If it waits a week to get from the sticky note to your screen, no problem!
2. If you write a JusJoJan post on your blog, you can ping it back to the above link to make sure everyone participating knows where to find it.
3. Write anything!
4. Have fun!

The Angel catcher.

The angel came to threaten me but was not prepared for the sight of me. I was ready and waiting for him. I have had to deal with many of his kin.

I was waiting on the shore to meet him as I have many before. They arrive with lighting flash expecting they will turn me to ash. With their wings unfurled and their swords help high they lose their purpose when they meet my eye.

They all surrender unto me they beg their Lord to set them free. They all submit to me they can’t resist they need to drink of me.

Here I am on the shore with piles of fallen angels’ wings galore. The angry lights in the sky is Him furious with his troops who can no longer fly.

My conquests

So they may come and come again I shall conquer all. I fear not their fiery swords may they come in ones or come in hoards!

They only need to meet my eye for them to lose the will to fly. So I collect their wings and they learn the joys of other things.

So here am I upon the shore thinking not of the day when they will come no more. For now I rest on feathered bed with my fallen angels at my feet and head.
