Sometimes it’s almost perfect

This is a Tanka for Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge.

You are my Awesome

Standing there in your  cape of gold you look so smart,

In your hand you hold the very stuff of life, my  heart.

You shine the light around exposing the dull and grey,

You hold in your power the colours of the day.

You have brought me here to the edge of time

Soon all that will be left will be the colours that shine.

Now you will pledge your live to me and I shall pledge to thine.

Can you fly, will you try to. Show me your beating heart

As the dawns,light climbs up the hill once more  a new day to start.

Time is on the run it is speeding up but it cannot out run the rising sun.

Awesome you are my awesome you are the music and the words to my song.

The light you bring the colours that in  you shine

We shall be here together until the end of time.

So take my love and take my life it is all for you.

Remember I called you  my Awesome and you  have called me your Awesome too.

The Christmas Tree

waiting to come in

Sitting the garden , he’s been there all year,waiting and growing happily and now his time is nearly here. He has been moved from the rockery to the patio he is so excited for his next move will be back indoors you know!!

He is patiently waiting in the freezing cold, wind and rain for his second chance to be decorated again! Last year he so bedazzled us we were all fair speechless and soon he will be resplendent  all decked out in his Christmas completeness!

Will it be tomorrow or will it be Saturday no one really knows the answer is hard to say! He already looks so lovely his beautiful bluey, green I really think that he is the bestest tree I have ever seen.
