Acrostic Poem : Friday

Frivourously  fluttering  her skirts around  and hinting  at  change

Rekindling hope in our hearts  she  bangs  the  door of  any  blues in  range

Idly painting her nails, fingers  and  toes, to  hell with the  rest of  the clique

Days gone, days to come,  days  for having fun. She is  the Queen of  the week

Anti slog, against all types of drugery. Wake up  Sleepy Head

You need to be up and  at ’em! It is  Friday . That is what I said.

Wordless Wednesday : Birthday Bubbles.

Freerunning! Verse and nonet

I need to run I need the wind in my hair

I need to fly I need to reach the sun

Run, jump, soar and spin  show some flair.

I want excitement, elation  and fun!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rooftop to wall , night skies see all
Spin across the railings , brake fall
Hit  the ground running never crawl.
Wind catches my clothes , sprawl
Clear the grass climb the wall
Up up don’t fall
I am  small
When I
Run!
The Man in the Hat
He came when all was but lost, I was at my lowest ebb. He smiled and offered me a drink. For my sins I feared the cost. Still I felt myself being drawn into his web.
He was tall and gaunt but he had a light about him. I could not see the colour of his eyes, he was different and sallow of skin.His hair was black yet streaked with blonde. He made me feel that I and he belonged.
The way his fingers touched his hat spoke volumes, he was the boss and that was that. They say a cat may look at a king but God help the cat that looked sideways at him!
He turned and looked me in the eye I felt my  stomach lurch and my common sense began to fly. My knees were weak and I was trembling, he lent towards me and began to speak, I felt my juices flow. I was already under his spell inside I felt his powers grow.
We had another drink and then another as he sat there unaware I longed to be his lover. He was so odd not at all my type, not that I even thought I had one. He strolled over to the jukebox and put on a song. As I drank my drink I tried not to think what had brought me to this bar what had pushed me to the brink. Why was I here in the middle of the day with this stranger having a drink. He took my hand and asked if I would like to dance , OH!yes I would. I would given just a chance.
I was tired and bored of my humdrum life, a life bereft of spark.  The days all melding into one  with emotions running in between boredom and strife. I was so bloody sick of of being a mother and a wife. Oh! and middle aged running to seed rolling downhill towards the end of my life.So no wonder I was being swept off of my feet by this strange younger man who for these few moments has made me feel whole and sexy again younger than I am.
We moved around the tiny space, I felt his arms around my waist his lips upon my neck he said lets get a room I slumped a little in his embrace then whispered what the heck. Across the road was an hotel where he quickly booked a room and then behind closed doors he taught me all I had forgot. He took me to heaven that afternoon.
He talked and showed interest in me, he let me talk and set all my demons free. I felt at peace as we left the little hotel, from somewhere on this winter’s afternoon came a ray of sun. He bowed his head and touched his hat and then gently kissed my hand  then he walked off and I was blinded by a flash off my wedding band.
I knew I’d never see him again but that did not seem to matter, I look around and saw the sun set and heard the town return to life and chatter. Then what was there for me to do? I straightened my shoulders and headed home ready for the struggles the smiles and the moans. Back to real life, for no arguing the point I am a mother and a wife.
Tango
I need to Tango Tango, I mean the whole fandango. I need to strut and and grind I need to Tango. I need to step and side step I need to spin and twirl I maybe in the body of an older woman but at heart I am still a girl.
I need to meet the eyes of dark haired man. I need him to hold me to him, to move me , he can can can! I need the high heels I need a red dress I want the rush I need the sex I know I will blush blush blush!
Google Image
I want to Tango Tango I need to dip and angle I need to sway, and over, a strong arm to dangle. I need excitement I need distraction I  really crave satisfaction, action action action!
I need to fondle and be fondled. I need to  excite and be excited OH! I need to Tango Tango I need to see a man go wild and spin me off my feet. I need to Tango Tango I want to tell everyone so I shall tweet tweet tweet!
I need to Tango Tango in a new dress and some spangos !I need to glide and swirl I need to to pretend and in my head be a dizzy dizzy girl and twirl twirl twirl.
Do you Booty Boy
I write this in honour of granbee
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Do you hear the noise Booty boy, can you hear the the braying and the snorting and the croaking and crawing? Do you see the leaping and the hopping and the stumbling …becoming louder now a grumbling rumbling?

Can you see the colours Booty Boy can you see the feathers and fur swirling and whirling building up to joy? Can you see the hopping and hobblers and jumpers and leaping tibbly tobblers? Are they calling you.

Is your tail a wagging Booty Boy and your legs a jaggling and your mouth a drooping and your heart and head a loop-a-looping. Do you want to join the this possession this merry band all dancing paw in hand. Making nothing of the miles crossing the land. Hopity bobopity over streams and meadows.

Do you see the black crow and the white dove Booty Boy is you your heart full of joy tell me, tell me Booty Boy can you feel the love. Come join them Booty Boy onwards as they trek ahoy! Come and join them Booty Boy. Come and join the lenten crew.

The Christmas Tree

waiting to come in

Sitting the garden , he’s been there all year,waiting and growing happily and now his time is nearly here. He has been moved from the rockery to the patio he is so excited for his next move will be back indoors you know!!

He is patiently waiting in the freezing cold, wind and rain for his second chance to be decorated again! Last year he so bedazzled us we were all fair speechless and soon he will be resplendent  all decked out in his Christmas completeness!

Will it be tomorrow or will it be Saturday no one really knows the answer is hard to say! He already looks so lovely his beautiful bluey, green I really think that he is the bestest tree I have ever seen.
